Paper Players 366

A good Monday to you my friends! I had a very nice weekend! I was over Jim’s on Saturday working on some more projects that I’m happy to say we got them finished! Saturday night we went over and had dinner with Kim. So nice to get to see her, it’s been way too long. Yesterday I had a lazy day, it was rainy so I watched some more of the Arrow on Netflix. This morning I’m going to get stuff done! Have to make up for yesterday! How was your weekend?! πŸ˜€

I’m starting the week off with my card for the Paper Players challenge…

I used the Hero Arts Halloween Trimmings Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set and heat embossed the greeting in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and the bats in Hero Arts Black Sparkle Embossing Powder onto a piece of Pluto Stardream Curious Metallic Card Stock. That is then adhered to a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. They wanted clean and simple, I think that fits the bill! Love the nice sparkly bats on the shiny dark card stock! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players Challenge! Thank you for starting your week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! πŸ™‚

  1. Nice that we can actually see the sparkle black in the photo. Wish I had seen that card before making my Halloween cards – things would have moved along much faster. Love this card and that metallic card stock is fabulous. Glad you had a good weekend. Today will be busy making apple pies for the freezer for this coming winter. Have yourself a marvelous Monday my friend. Love and hugs to you. XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Grace!! It took a few tries to get the angle right so that you could see the bats! LOL! It was a nice quick card to make! Save it for next year! MMMMM! I love a good apple pie! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. Great design, simple yet, WOW! That cardstock is awesome.

Awesome weekend, glad Monday is over. Went scrapbooking on Saturday, I went alone but you always meet folks there. Got quite a few stamped images colored and about 20 photos done. Then yesterday, I was in high gear! That rarely happens. 8 Halloween cards done. OMG. I made the Lawn Fawn candy Corn shaker cards, galaxy background cards, they are my fav, hate to give those up. Used some new and old dies, I bought some WOW Halloween embossingv powder, gorgeous, played with that and a word cat stamp. Best part…. even cleaned up my desk before bed.

    1. Thank you very much Linda!
WOW! Look at you go!! You had a super productive weekend!! I need to have a weekend like that!! A crafty weekend! πŸ™‚

  3. Love the metallic cardstock, Justin. Using embossing paste for the bats was genius! I am smitten by embossing paste and just can’t get enough of it. Cleaning up immediately is the hard part for me!! Heck, cleaning anything is hard for me. We all need downtime as you had on Sunday. We all need that once in a while and even frequently is not bad either. It seems we go from Friday and then it’s Friday again so soon. Time passes so quickly. Have a great Tuesday!

    1. Thanks HJ! I love the Paper Cut Metallics! I haven’t used embossing paste in forever! Hmm… another thing for me to pull out! Yes, downtime is good but can get addictive! LOL! Time is always moving way too fast! πŸ™‚
