Hi there and a good Tuesday to you! I hope that you are all doing well and getting into the festive holiday mood! I actually have already put up my Christmas tree! I wasn’t going to put one up since I won’t be here for holidays but enough people complained that I relented. LOL! Heather came over on Friday night and did the lights, she is very meticulous about them, all 500 of them! I decorated it on Saturday morning and got a “collar” for it from Target to finish it off. I also had a lovely dinner with Heather and George on Saturday evening which included a few Sparkling French Martinis, they were delicious!
The card I have for you today is a fun Christmas card! It uses the Simon Says Stamp Warmth and Wonder Stamps again, I really do like those! I stamped the deer from the set in Simon Says Stamp Latte and Mocha Pawsitively Saturated Ink and then used the coordinating dies to cut it out. My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The background is a piece of Lawn Fawn Lobster Card Stock that I embossed with the Simon Says Stamp Feathery Pines Embossing Folder. I used the Simon Says Stamp Alicia Snowflake Die to cut out a piece of Concord & 9th Sliver Glitter Paper. It’s added to the background with Bearly Arts Glue and the Deer is added with Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Simon Says Stamp Graceful Greeting Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder and cut out with the Coordinating Simon Says Stamp Graceful Greetings Dies. It’s added with more foam tape. We always need a little shine so I added Simon Says Stamp Embellishment Mix Starshine Sequins!

A pretty simple but different Holiday card!

I hope that you liked my craftiness that I had to share with you today! Thanks as always for spending a little time with me today! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! 🙂

The entire card is beautiful. That red card stock is fantastic! I love that deer stamp, too. At first glance, I thought maybe the red background had been stamped with another shade of red then I realized (and read) that it was embossed. Lovely card. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you Cindy! I tend to shy away from red and I don’t know why. I do like that feather tree EF, it’s different. I love that Warmth and Wonder Set! 🙂
I love the way you added the sparkly star behind the deer.
Thank you Debbie! 🙂
pretty card, love the embossing folder. No tree till at least December, and definitely not before Remembrance Day. We have a small 3foot tabletop tree, pre-lit and I bring it out and plug it in. I bring out the box of decorations when two of our grandkids are here after school and let them decorate it. I usually get it done before they go hunting for a tree, so they are eager to decorate. I’m happy to let them and I don’t move anything unless a glass ornament is in a precarious position. Win win!
Thank you Lynne! I would not usually have put it up this early, but I won’t be here so I figured it would give me a little time to enjoy it. I’ll bet it’s fun with the grandkids! Enjoy when you decorate! 🙂
