And it’s Friday, next week I will be much happier about that! LOL! Yesterday I caught up on some things around the house, took a ride over to see Renee and picked up the stamps for next week’s card class and got to see little Daniel! Not a bad day at all. Today I have some cleaning to do and lots of cards to make. I also need to venture out and get some food!
Every other Friday it’s time for another Fab Friday challenge and today’s it’s colors…
I played with some new goodies that I ordered while I was away so they would be waiting for me when I got back! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with the front covered in a piece of Very Vanilla. I used the Simon Says Stamp Notebook Edges Die on the left side of a piece of paper from the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack and adhered it to the card slightly askew with some SNAIL. The panel in the middle is a piece of Rich Razzleberry with the center cut out with a die from the Simon Says Stamp Happy Day Dies. All of the images are from the Simon Says Stamp Oh Happy Day Photopolymer Stamp Set. The hi is heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Vellum and adhered behind the negative in the panel. Old Olive and Soft Suede are used to stamp the sprigsΒ and feathers, they are cut out with the matching dies. Some Soft Suede is cut out with the Circle Loops Dies and all of them are adhered to the card with 2-Way Glue. The main panel is adhered with Foam Tape and a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins are added for a little sparkle. I always love a greeting heat embossed on some vellum! I hope that you enjoyed my card for the Fab Friday color challenge! Take a minute to stop by the blog and check out the other Designer’s cards and enter your card into the gallery! Thanks very much for taking some time to come by and visit! I hope that you all have a fabulous Friday! π

Hi Nancy! Thank you! Glad that you like the card, and yes, it is hexagonish! LOL! π
Great card–you inspire me to do more with vellum! Really enjoyed your travel pix!
Thank you very much Teresa! I do love vellum! So happy that you liked the pictures!! π
I love the hint of gold in the embossing and sequins! TFS!
Thanks so much Amanda! π
Good Morning Justin:
So good to have you back and also to get back myself. We “got out of Dodge” for a few days for no reason at all. You got to go to London, a once in a lifetime trip, while we only went to Loudon to check out the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. An everyday kind of getaway. LOL
Love today’s card. I especially liked the way you only secured the bottom of the branches to the card allowing the rest of the branches to stand out a bit. Just beautiful.
Enjoy your day today. So happy that you made it home safely. Take care and I wish you lots of hugs! Luv ya! XO
Hello Grace!
Thank you! I’m glad to be getting back into the swing of things, although it’s taking a long time! How nice to have a trip just because! LOL! Louden, London, sounds similar!
Yay! I like when things stick up a little, makes it more interesting!
Need to get motivated!! I hope that you had a good day! Love you loads!! XOXO π
This card is a stunner Justin! I love the bold use of the colors and the beautiful collection of elements.
Thanks so much Dana! π
