Hi there! It’s the weekend! Yay! Last night was night two of card class at Scrap-A-Latte. We featured Lawn Fawn this month and it has to be one of the favorites because there were 30 people in class over the two nights! I love getting together with everyone, we always have such a great time! Last night Andrew’s girlfriend Kayleigh came, she said that she will be back next month so I’m guessing that she enjoyed it! Here is a picture of the three of us…
Before we get to the cards I wanted to wish two of my favorite people a Happy Birthday! My traveling companion Brian and my cousin Jules. They happen to share a birthday and they are even the same age!
Ok, now without further ado here are the cards from this month’s card class…
A simple birthday card using the Lawn Fawn Let’s Bokeh Photopolymer Stamp Set.
A fun Halloween themed hello card using the Lawn Fawn Booyah Photopolymer Stamp Set.
A neat thank you card using the Lawn Fawn Happy Harvest Photopolymer Stamp Set.
And this month’s shaker using the Lawn Fawn Ready, Set, Snow Photopolymer Stamp Set.
You can even pull off the shaker and use it on your tree!
I hope that you enjoyed seeing the cards as much as everyone in class enjoyed making them! Thank you so much for coming by to visit and I wish you a spectacular Saturday! π

Hi Justin,
I think perhaps the reason you had 30 people in class was because YOU were teaching it!!! The cards are adorable. How did you make the shaker detachable? I saw you used magnateTape – was that the secret. What is magnate tape???
Enjoy your weekend.
Hello Gerri!
Aww, you are so nice to me! Thanks! I’m so happy that you like the cards! Yes, the shaker is held to the card with some Magnetic Tape! I hope that you are having a great weekend! π
OK, I hate to sound dense butβ¦. I understand putting magnetic tape on the card but does that mean the back of the shaker ornament is metal? I love the concept. Just trying to figure out how to do it.
LOL! Not dense Gerri! No, there is a magnet on the back of the shaker too! π
What a great collection of cards! Surely that class was a “happy place”. I enjoyed all of the pictures.
Thanks so much Carol! Yes, we definitely have a good time at class! π
Hi Justin:
I hope everyone who attended the class knows how lucky they are to be there with you teaching. Every card was fabulous on its own but that last Christmas card that came off the card to become an ornament definitely is screaming at the top of its lungs “send me to Grace, send me to Grace, send me to Grace”! LOL I also love making cards with a little “scene” like the autumn one you did. AND your coloring was superb! I cannot get into the coloring thing anymore. That is how I started making cards, with some white card stock and a bunch of colored pencils. Perhaps I did too much coloring in those days and now don’t want to do any.
Thank you so much for sharing your cards and your talent with us every day. I also love seeing all your photos and, by the way, Andrew looks great too. You have yourself a Superb Saturday. Love and hugs, XO π
Hello Grace!
Thank you very much Grace! That’s very nice of you to say! LOL! I will have to make that I send one of those Ornament cards to you!! I am really enjoying coloring with the Copics! I have always liked to watercolor but the Copics are so much fun to blend! Yes, perhaps you colored yourself out! I think that coloring reminds me of crayons and childhood, maybe that’s why I like it. Michael also likes to color, maybe he has some influence too!
I thank you of spending some time with me! I enjoy sharing with you! Andrew is looking well! I hope that you enjoyed your Saturday and that you have a super Sunday! Love to you! XOXO π
Good on the morn J. I do believe that you have outdone yourself with the detachable shaker magnet. How in the world will you top that one??? 30 people in class means you are on the way to becoming a huge talent, traveling the USA giving classes in scrapbook stores. Hellooooo….scrapbook store owners…..
Sorry I missed being there. Cannot believe that Andrew brought Kayleigh into his man cave. LOL.
Good Morning M! Thank you very much!! It will be hard to top but I have to find a way! LOL! You are too kind! I thank you for broadening my horizons past Stampin’ Up! Without you none of this would be possible! No one wished that you were there more than me! You are missed more than you can imagine!
Kayleigh really enjoyed the class and she made cards when she was little with her aunt! She will be back next month!! π
Have a wonderful day my friend! π
Super cute cards! Love the snowglobe!
Thanks Sandy! Hope to see you back in class! π
Loved the pics of your card night. Everyone of the cards is wonderful, but, of course, the piece de resistance is the snowglobe. The fact that it detaches and can be used independently as an ornament is awesome and really makes it fun. We love your creative talent you generously share with us daily.
Thank you HJ! The snow globe was definitely the favorite but it did take a while to assemble! I like that you get to hang the shaker in your tree! I love that I get to share with you! π
Great class last night! So much fun…& I love love love the cards we made! Cant wait for the next class! Thanks Justin!!!
Thank you very much Robin! I’m so happy to have you there! Can’t wait to see you next month! π
Thanks for the class last night Justin! I super love your Christmas Ornament shaker card. It’s so innovative (and cute!)
Thank you for coming Marissa! I’m so happy that you like the card, especially the shaker! Hope to see you next month! π
Great cards, Justin! Like everyone else, I am in love with the snowglobe card. If only I lived closer, I’d definitely be signed up for your classes!
Thank you Jeanne! It would be great to have you in class! π
Gorgeous! Love Lawn Fawn. I have the shaker set and Booyah, cant wait to play with them. Had a great day went to a Halloween Sampler class today and finished the project. Love it. Dont laugh but when I came home I found this unfinished canvas heart sampler that I started oh so many years ago and finished it!!!! OMG I’m so excited. Got nothing else done but I’m staring at this on my wall and love it!!!!!
Tomorrow my daughter and I are going scrapbooking, cant wait!
Thank you Linda! Yes, I have grown to really love Lawn Fawn too! The Shaker set is so cool! and so many other things fit inside it! You sound like you had a super productive day!! Good for you! You were creative and finished a project, you got enough done! LOL! Sounds like a super weekend for you! YAY! Enjoy! π
