Phew! I must admit that I’m a little tired this morning! A happy Sunday to you! Yesterday morning I had breakfast with Kim and Maggie at the diner near Kim’s new apartment. After that I made my way downtown. I had a fun day at The Ink Pad with Barbara! I got play with the new Silhouette Mint Machine! You can make your own custom stamps in minutes with it! It comes with software to design the stamp and then you “print” it in this little tiny machine. After it comes out you adhere it to a block and the ink it. After a little while the ink settles in and it stamps about 100 images before it needs re-inking! I think I need one of those! LOL! So much fun! When I got home last night around 9:00 I had a piece of toast for dinner and then made two cards. This morning I’m off to Manhattan again to visit my friends Jon and MaryΒ for a bit then it’s back out to the Island for Daniel’s 2nd birthday! I can’t believe that he is two already! This weekend they moved into their new house and right at the end of the street is the beach! Here is a cute picture of Daniel from Saturday…
Seeing as today is Daniel’s birthday I thought I would post the card, I don’t think that he reads my blog yet, I hope not! LOL! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I cut out a piece of Daffodil Delight and some Cucumber Crush with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles. The Cucumber Crush has a Simon Says Stamp Stitched Hills and Slopes cut across the top and is adhered to the Daffodil Delight piece with SNAIL and then that is adhered to the card with more SNAIL. I stamped the Happy Birthday in Memento Tuxedo Black from the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set in the lower right corner. The You are is from the Simon Says Stamp You Are Pawesome Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut the word pawesome out with the Simon Says Stamp Cat and Dog Pawesome Craft Dies from a piece of Real Red and adhered that to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. My cute little dog is also from the Pawesome Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with my Copics. I added some Glossy Accents to his nose and tagΒ on his collar and adhered him with SNAIL to the card. Lastly, I die cut a pice of Early Espresso using the Simon Says Stamp Paws Craft Die and adhered that to the card with Foam Tape. I love the dog and the “Pawesome” greeting, it makes for a fun little boy birthday card! I hope that you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you for checking in with me today! I wish you all a stupendous Sunday! π

Hello Gerri!
Thank you! I do love that little dog, Daniel is a big fan of animals and I thought that the bright colors were fun! I had a nice day, hope that you did too! π
Super cute card! That’s a treasure for Daniel to keep forever!
Thank you Carol! π
Good Morning Justin:
Daniel is going to absolutely love the card you made for him. It couldn’t be any more perfect for a two year old boy! Your use of the Copic markers is really striking. I need to learn how to shadow like that. Such a happy, happy card for such an awesome little boy. Watch out – the “terrible two’s” may soon be upon you but don’t worry, they outgrow it. LOL Have yourself a Super Sunday and enjoy. Luv and Hugs, XO π
Hi Grace!
Thank you so much! I didn’t get to see him open it but his mum will tell me all about it! I love Copics and there is a really good class online at onlinecardclassses.com on how to use them! Daniel has his moments but he’s so cute so it’s all good! I enjoyed my day and I hope that you did too. XOXO π
So cute! After he opens it, you should show him the pictures of him and his card on your blog. Show him what a SUPERSTAR he is!
Thank you Jeanne! Aww, they didn’t open presents at the restaurant! Bummer! That would have been a great idea! π
vey sweet card, Happy Birthday Daniel!
Thank you Lynne! I’ll pass along your birthday wishes! π
Justin, I just love seeing a picture of Daniel. The card is so cute. He is a lucky little lad to have you as an Uncle.
Happy Sunday.
Thank you! I’m happy that I get to share them with you! Love him to pieces! Hope you had a good day! π
What a beautiful photo, In my next life thats where I want to be. What an awesome card, or should I say pawsome, I’m sure this will be saved in his scrapbook.
Thank you Linda! It really does look inviting doesn’t it?! LOL! Thanks, glad you like the card too! π
Hey Justin, what a gorgeous card for Daniel! Amazing colouring in on the puppy too π Sounds like you have been very busy – I think you might need an extension to your stampin galley to fit all the goodies you pick up! We travelled to the Barossa Valley on the weekend to see family – it is a lot like the Napa Valley (wine country). It was nice to catch up, long drive though! Love the photo of Daniel, they are very lucky to be living so close to the beach π Enjoy your week Justin xx
Hi Kelly!
Thank you! I do love to color with Copics! I need more! LOL! I have had a crazy busy weekend but it was great! I need to stop shopping while I’m at The Ink Pad! Sounds like you had a very nice weekend too! Yes, they are lucky to live so close to a beach! I hope that you have a lovely week! XO π
Hi Justin! What an adorable pic of Daniel, even though we can’t see his cute face! π I can’t believe he’s 2 either! Where does the time go? The card you made for him is so darling, he’s gonna love it. And you are an expert with your Copics!! Wow!!
I can understand why you are a little tired! π I’m exhausted listening to how much you pack in to your day! Have an awesome rest of your Sunday!!
Hi Karen!
Thanks, I love candid shots, they just capture that moment! Time sure does fly! I’m glad that you like the card! I am no expert with my Copics but I’m getting there! It was a busy weekend but I loved it all! Hope that you enjoyed your weekend! π
Really cute card, Justin. They do grow up so fast. Daniel is such a cutie. I’m sure he will love the new house.
Thank you HJ! Yes, they do grow up really fast! He was pretty happy to show me his new room! π
Great Card Justin. Happy Birthday Daniel. I must admit, I can’t believe he is 2 either. Does this mean he moved “a little” farther away from you? What a great place to visit during the summer. I’m so glad you are enjoying all you days and stamp shops and classes.
π
Thank you Nancy! I’ll pass along your birthday wishes! They actually moved a little closer! I can’t wait to got to the beach in the summer! I am having a really great time! π
