What an amazingly gorgeous day here yesterday! I had the top down in the car and it was glorious! It’s funny how just driving in my convertible makes everything right with the world again! I FaceTimed with Andrea a bit in the morning and then went over to see Heather for lunch. She grilled up some chicken and we had delicious salads! When I got back to the house I went next door to see Daniel for a little bit, he was going with my parents to Carvel to get ice cream, his favorite! Around 4:30 Heather came by and we ran to BJ’s and Target to pick up a few things, she dropped me back home and Danielle was supposed to stop by but she got stuck at work so I headed back over to Heather’s. She surprised me with an amazing dinner! We all like a little food porn from time to time, almost as much as some people love regular porn from sources including https://www.nu-bay.com/categories/56/ass, so here it is…
Chicken Français with baby potatoes and a nice salad! It really was delicious! After dinner we ran to Big Lots and then came back and I had a walnut brownie with a nice cup of coffee. Such a lovely day!
Today I have my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge to share with you…
I went super clean and simple! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My flower and leaves are from the Hero Arts Color Layering Hibiscus Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flower in Hero Arts Butter Bar, Ultra Pink and Raspberry Jam with the center stamped in Butter Bar. The leaves are stamped in Simon Says Stamp Green Leaf and Olive and then all of them are cut out with my Scissors. I adhered the leaves to the card with E-Z Runner, positioned my flower and then stamped my greeting from the Hero Arts Share Handmade Kindness Photopolymer Stamp Set in Onyx Black. The flower and stamen are then adhered to the card with Foam Tape. You know that I had to add a few Pretty Pink Posh Marigold, Pumpkin and Shamrock Sequins for a little something extra! I say it all the time but I love the Hero Arts Color Layering Sets, I wanted my flower to have a bit of a graphic appearance and I’m quite happy with the results! I really hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today! Have a fantastic Thursday! π

Your card is beautiful!
Hey Gerri!
Yes, dinner was yummy! I’m lucky to have the friends that I have for sure! Thank you! Glad that you like the card! π
Gorgeous CAS creation! I love the hibiscus. Dinner looks fab, too!
Thanks so much Sandy! Dinner was great too! π
Love, love, love this card Justin! CAS is my style and your color combo is fantastic. Your decision to use multiple colors of sequins matching the inks you used was a wise one. It would have been easy to overdo this card but you stopped at the perfect place. I love it.
Monday afternoon was not fun. The modem from my service provider decided to take a nose dive so I did not have internet from late afternoon Monday until last night. Whatever happened it also affected my Wi-Fi so that will remain disconnected until my daughter and SIL can come up and figure out what is going on. I swear, I have more problems with computers than I ever had with teenagers growing up in the house. LOL Anyway, glad you had a nice day yesterday and I hope it’s a repeat for you today. Love and hugs to you my friend………….XXOO π
Thank you very much Grace! The Color Layering Sets from Hero are awesome! And you know that just the right amount of sequins makes anything better! LOL!
You have been having lots of internet issues lately! No Wireless! That’s terrible! Why couldn’t the person that came to fix the modem reconnect the wireless?! I definitely wish that I lived closer! Yesterday was another good day and I hope that today is better for you! XOXO π
Lovely card Justin! More importantly, I need a friend like Heather! What a fabulous looking meal – and brownies too π
