Well, now that I’m lucky enough to be at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store seven days a week Friday’s have lost a little bit of their luster! LOL! Nah, I still love a Friday! It was sunny here in the morning yesterday but got a little gloomy as the day went on. Renee and I had a fun day, my parent’s came by with Daniel and he looked at my cards for this month’s class featuring the new Lawn Fawn Release and decided that the shaker card was his favorite! Sue and her sister Arlene also stopped by and the four of had a nice chat! More Lawn Fawn came in yesterday and I got that entered and put out. Since I’m at the store all the time now I’m offering Card Class in the morning as well as the evening on June 16th and 17th. It’s filling up fast so if you’re in the area and want to take it give the store a call and sign up! You can see a picture of the cards on the @stampinkpaperstore Instagram account on the Facebook page for the store! On the way home I stopped by Heather’s and got her so we could run to BJ’s. Daniel was still at my parent’s so we ran in to say hello and Daniel showed Heather all of his cars! After BJ’s we went back to Heather’s and she made a delicious salad for dinner and then Stephanie came by for a low key thirsty Thursday! I got home around 10:30 and finished two sweet 16 cards for Kiera’s mum and made my card for today. Taylor and Kiera stopped by and I chatted with Kiera while Taylor took a nap! Just like her dad, she can sleep anywhere!
I played with some “new to me” goodies for my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
My card starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I heat embossed the images from the Waffle Flower Lacy Flower Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder on a piece of 28lb Vellum. The fun die cut coordinates with the stamp set and is called Lacy Flowers. There are a bunch of different size flowers and also another coordinating set that cuts out solids of the flowers to go behind them. The greeting is from the same set and is heat embossed in Black onto a piece of White Gold Curious Metallic. I flagged the left side and then used Foam Tape and Dot Runner Adhesive to adhere all of the pieces to the card. I love that flower die, so intricate and it falls right out of the die, no magic needed! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge! Thank you for coming by and I wish all of you a fantastic Friday! 🙂

Love this card Justin and that die is amazingly beautiful. Of course, I’m jealous of your ability to emboss on vellum without making it toast. LOL
The kids are here and we worked all day reorganizing my craft room. The weather was cloudy and misty most of the day so it was a good day to do it. Of course this means I will not be able to find anything for months but that’s O.K. I’ll get used to it.
I hope your Friday was fabulous. Love and hugs and hi from Toni-Lynn. XXOO 🙂
Thank you Grace! The die is neat and very intricate, it’s cuts really well too! LOL! Toasted Vellum, would be that be considered distressed?!
How nice to have help with your organization!! LOL! Yes, cleaning always results in hunts for goodies after!
My Friday was great! I’m glad that yours was too! Love and hugs to you all! Hey Toni-Lynn!! XOXO
This card is beautiful but the die is breath taking!!! just beautiful. Just came back from Sonoma/Napa Valley, is is so beautiful. Long tiring day but so worth it. I’m not a wine fan but I did enjoy the sweet wines. And it was hot! 105, and San Fran is only 65, The weather here in Calif is hard to figure out. I’m missing crafting, I bought a PP kit with, maybe tonight. Muir woods tomorrow then home on Sunday, a great trip!
Thank you Linda! Yes, the die is really fun! I’m so happy that you enjoyed your trip! I have always wanted to go there, one day! The weather in CA is all over the place! I know what you mean about missing crafting! I was lost for two weeks while in London! Enjoy the rest of your trip!! 🙂
I must have overlooked this post somehow from a few days ago. I love the card and the beautiful dies are so cool. Glad to hear the flowers fall out of the dies. That’s a plus for sure. It’s good you are accustomed to cramming your days to the limit because working 7 days a week, you’ll need to make every minute count. I’m in awe of your schedule and all you accomplish. Take care.
Thank you HJ! I was pretty impressed on how easy the paper came out of the die! I hate when you have to work some kind of magic to get it out! The 7 days thing is ok for now but I will have to cut it down to 6, I need to do laundry! LOL! I try to make it look like I know what’s going on all the time, but sometimes I don’t! LOL! 🙂
This card is just stunning! I am such a huge lover of neutrals – they are totally elegant together. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!
Thank you Narelle! I love some neutrals every once in a while! Have a super week! 🙂
