Another hot one and muggy too yesterday, but I love it! I did manage to get a lot accomplished at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store, more that I thought I would which is always nice! We also had a lady that drove all the way in from New Jersey stop by! She said that there aren’t any craft stores left by her anymore. Now that is a dedicated crafter! After the store closed I headed home, no top down today, it was raining. Had dinner with Mum & Dad and then took Taylor and Kiera to Target. Taylor still isn’t allowed to drive, she’s on Codeine for her throat which she says still hurts. I feel bad for her but there isn’t much you can do, she just has to wait for it to heal. Renee is off today, she’s going to PA for a book signing by one of her old high school classmates. That should be fun!
Today I have a just because card! Just because I wanted to use the stamp set! LOL! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card stock. For my background I used a piece of Bo Bunny 12×12 Beach Day Surf Shop Paper. All of my images and greeting are from the Hero Arts Color Layering Large Orchid Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers in Lime Green, White Dye Ink, Ultra Pink and Lemon Yellow. The stems are stamped in Green Hills and I used the Coordinating Frame Cuts to cut them out. They are adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium and the flowers with Foam Tape. I stamped the greeting in Onyx Black and then added some Pretty Pink Posh Lime Sorbet, Watermelon and Sand Sequins to give the card a little oomph! I do love the orchids stamped in the green and the way that the White Dye Ink mutes the color! I hope that you like my card for today! Thank you for coming by! Have a simply wonderful Sunday! 🙂

Good Sunday morning to you Justin!
I just love the triple stamp Hero Arts photopolymer stamp sets. I love my mini Misti and the combination of the stamp set and Misti are like the perfect couple – they compliment each other like a match made in Heaven! I had not seen this particular Hero Arts set so it’s really fabulous that you get to introduce us to so much new product. Love it.
I feel sorry for Taylor. Tonsil surgery can create a sore throat for a few weeks. I know I hate having a sore throat. I will be gone all week and will catch up when I get home. I’ll miss your blog every morning. Oh well, ya’ gotta’ do what ya’ gotta’ do. LOL Have yourself a Super Sunday my friend. Luv and hugs, XXOO 🙂
Hi Grace!
Yes, me too! They make some great Sets and my Mini MISTI is my favorite tool! You are right, the MISTI makes the layering sets so easy to use! Love the Orchids, they have two sets, a large and potted one!
They say that the surgery is much worse when you are older, I have seen her throat and it looks gross! I’ll bet it does hurt! You will be missed my friend and I hope that you have a safe trip!Love and hugs to you!! XOXO 🙂
Just because cards are the best….no pressure no deadlines just have fun. Hero Arts and Altenew triple stamps sets are the best I’ve seen. Just gorgeous. Headed up to racine WI today to watch my son do a Triahalon, just crossed the border and got the call it was cancelled due to dangerous weather. The lightening was frightening. disappointed but at least all were kept safe.
I agree Linda! Love both the Hero and Altenew layering sets! Glad that they kept the participants safe. Your son is quite amazing! 🙂
