Woo hoo! Happy Friday my peeps! The Watercolor 101 Class at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store was a big hit! It was nice to see all of my little artists working on their cards! They all did a fantastic job and now they can all confidently watercolor! The rest of the day at the store was nice! Nick is home from Boston, love having him around! Renee had a nice productive day too! She got all of her kits made for her Kids class! By the time I got home it was 9:00, I had a quick bite to eat at my Parent’s before I came home and sat down to make my card for today. Today at the store I have some new Reverse Confetti to check in and I have to continue gathering the goodies for my Holiday Village Classes! That is going to be fun!
Today just happens to be a Fab Friday and this time we have a fun sketch…
Love that little flourish! The card that I came up with starts off with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I took some Heidi Swapp Citron Color Shine and flicked it onto the card front. After that dried I adhered a piece of 3M Black Glitter Washi Tape down the left side. My leaves are cut from Gold Mirror Card using the Spellbinders Romantic Vines Shapeabilities and that’s adhered to the card with Multi-Matte Medium. The greeting is from the Altenew Sentiments & Quotes Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Onyx Black onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. I cut out a piece of patterned paper with the Spellbinders Postage Stamp Nestabilities and adhered it to the bottom of the greeting. That is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. To complete the card I added some Pretty Pink Posh Peacock and Gold Sequins! I love the simplicity of the card and the unexpected bright green spatter with the black and gold! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s inspiration cards and enter yours in the gallery! I thank you for coming by today! Have a fantabulous Friday! 🙂

Lovely, lovely, lovely card today Justin. I really think the saying is the most perfect one I’ve ever seen for a thank you card. Of course the gold mirror card stock is especially nice on this card. You know the old Girl Scout saying – “make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold.”
So – what’s this about Holiday Village classes? I’m almost afraid to ask as that sounds like a class that I would absolutely love to take. I will be so jealous if it’s what I think it is. Poor me, so far away from Justin’s store!
Today the hubs and I will celebrate our anniversary with a lovely dinner out. It will be very nice I”m sure. I hope you have a Fun and Friend Filled Friday. Love and hugs, XXOO 🙂
Thank you so much Grace! I love the greetings in that Altenew Set! I need to order a truckload of that Gold Mirror Card!! I LOVE IT! But you know that! LOL! I like that saying!!
We are going to make a little Holiday Village that will light up!! I’m so excited about it! I have to get busy making it! I think that I might be able to kit it and if I can I’ll send you one!
Happy Anniversary!! I hope that you have a wonderful time! Love you loads!! XOXO 🙂
Oh my gosh Justin – that is exactly what I thought it would be. Absolutely put me on the list for a kit, I don’t care how much it is. We need for you to start doing video classes like Linda Heller does. That would be a great way for all your fan club to be able to attend a class with you without driving half way across the country. I’m so excited to see this village. How much longer before you do that class? Hugs hugs for you! OOOOOOOXX
Will do Grace! I know I need to do videos, now just to find the time! The class will be in October! I have to get all of the elements to make the houses and like always things are backordered! I will keep you posted! XOXOXO
Love this card, Justin. The small piece of DSP at the bottom of the greeting, along with the gold mirror, sequins and spatter just adds so much. Happy Anniversary, Grace. Enjoy your dinner. I hope all of you have a great weekend.
Justin, I have a question. I recently saw on someone’s blog (can’t remember) where they were showing a product similar to Liquid Pearls but had the word “Shine” in it. Would you happen to know this product? I didn’t write down the name, but I liked it because it made perfect “enamel” dots without the “hershey kiss” look I get from Liquid Pearls. Just asking the expert in all things to do with papercrafting!! Thanks.
Thank you HJ! I definitely had fun putting the card together! Love a little spatter and you know me and my sequins!
There is a new product called Nuvo Drops, they are by Tonic. On a side note, if you do a circular motion when you pick up the Liquid Pearls bottle after you squeeze it out you should get less of a Hershey Kiss effect! Hope that helps! 🙂
Thanks, Justin, for your comments on Nuvo Drops. I’ll have to check them out. Does your store carry them? If so, could I order from you? Thanks for the tip on using Liquid Pearls more effectively. I’m new to them and need all the help I can get. LOL! Have a great Saturday.
Welcome HJ! Renee carries them, we have a few colors and she is getting more in next week. You can order anything that you like!! If we don’t have something I would be happy to get it for you! Welcome for the tip! I just saw a video on it a few days ago! Here is a link to it!

It’s actually for Enamel Accents! 😛
Thanks, Justin, for all your help. I will check out the video and hopefully have more success using the Liquid Pearls I bought recently. It’s great to know Renee has the Nuvo Drops in stock. I may be contacting her. You’re the best!!
You’re very welcome! I have to take care of my peeps! LOL! The rest of the colors will be here on Tuesday, I can send you an email of the colors that she has if you like! 🙂
That would be wonderful. I think you have my email. If not, let me know and I’ll send it to you. Thanks for all the time you’ve spent on this today for me. I really appreciate it.
I do have your email HJ! I’ll send it in a few minutes! I’m happy to help out! 🙂
That gold paper is so luxurious looking and stunning with the flourish die cut! TFS!
Thanks so much Amanda! I do love the Gold Mirror Card! I hope that you have a great week! 🙂
