Yet another very warm day here on Long Island! My car apparently thought so too because when I got in it this morning to head over the the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store the AC worked! Maybe it was angry at me? Who knows how long it will last but I’ll take it for now! I got a lot accomplished at the store too! I had a lot of fun getting to know my new watercolors! I apologize in advance, you will be seeing a lot of watercolor in my cards! Taylor came by and spent the day with me which was really nice! We also had a woman and her two daughters come by to crop. They were very nice and she said that they got a lot done! When I got to my Parent’s I had to call Apple because my Dad’s iPhone won’t let him upgrade his iCloud storage, he gets an odd and very unhelpful error message. Apparently Apple thought so too, it has been escalated to the iOS Development Team and I have to wait to hear back from them. After I finished that I ran a few errands and assembled my card for today. I hope to get a lot more accomplish at the store this morning and I have to go to the Post Office, not sure how I’ll manage that!
It’s Monday so that means that it’s time for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge…
My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I covered the front in a piece of the Altenew Woodgrain White Paper. My doily like piece is the Spellbinders Triple Tear Nestabilities Die cut from some Lemon Sorbet. I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles to cut out a piece of 36lb Vellum and adhered that to the front of the doily. Across the middle is a piece of Lemon Lime. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Altenew Beautiful Day Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Intense Black Ink on Arches 140lb Watercolor Paper and used my Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors to color them in. I was experimenting and wanted an imperfect look so I basically just let the paint do it’s thing. Once they were dry I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. The leaves are adhered to the card with Dot Runner and the flower with Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Altenew Sentiments & Quotes Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Onyx Black. I flagged the right side and adhered it over the leaves and flower. A few Pretty Pink Posh Amethyst Sequins complete the card. I’m really having fun experimenting with the Mission Gold Watercolors and my Silver Brushes! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Design Team’s cards and let’s see yours in the gallery! Thank you for beginning another week here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

Good Morning Justin:
I love the colors in this card! I especially love the lemon lime as it projects warmth and softness. I’ve been looking for a great yellow for a long time and the yellow lemon on this card is exactly what I am looking for so, if you carry it in your store, please add it on to the order you have for me. Thanks for sharing another beautiful card with us today.
Hot and humid again yesterday. Ditto for today. We really, really, really need some rain here. No, I don’t want 5″ in an hour like they got in Louisiana but would sure love to have a steady rain so that the ground can soak it up. There is nothing inviting about a brown lawn that crunches when you walk on it! So glad your A/C is working again. Kind of weird but who cares as long as it’s working.
Have yourself a Magnificent Monday my friend. Love and hugs, XXOO 🙂
Good morning Grace!
Thank you! I wanted something nice and bright! I will add the card stock to your order! I have to check and see when that Hero order is expected!
It has been the same here but I really don’t mind it at all! We had a little rain last night, too bad they can’t control the weather better! I’m sure that Louisiana would be happy to give you their rain! I’m not complaining about the AC randomly working, let’s hope that it stays that way! You have a fabulous day my friend! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
I love the combination of lemon, lime, and purples. So summery yet cooling. The background die is beautiful. I’m glad the AC is working! My poor car is in for about $2,000 worth of repairs! I love my old Buick and it beats the price tag of having to shell out for a new car. More $ for stamps! Have a Terrific Tuesday! Hugs, Nancy B
Thanks Nancy! I like the nice bright colors too! The Spellbinders die is fun, I have used it before but as a frame! I’m so happy that the AC is working, fingers crossed that it stays that way! Wow! That’s a lot of money but I understand, I love my car and would like to keep it as long as I can! You have a terrific Tuesday too! Hugs back at ya! 🙂
K????
LOL! Yes Cindy, K, it’s my last name! 🙂
WOW! Beautiful and bright. Love the color combo you chose
Thank you Linda! I needed bright! 🙂
Another beauty that I missed yesterday. I love the purples and yellows. I knew I was missing you and wondered if you were taking a day off from posting, which seemed unlikely because you are a diligent daily poster. Glad I can get caught up on your creations that I’ve missed.
Thank you HJ! I have been really into purple lately and I love it green and yellow! You know I never take the day off! LOL! Glad that you got all caught up to! 🙂
