What a super busy day I had yesterday! The Stamp, Ink, Paper Store was packed! That’s how I would like it every day! I got my Notions Order and the Hero Arts Order finally arrived! Woo hoo! I was selling it faster than I could enter it! I met some new people, Michelle and Deborah, super nice and so much fun! Creative people are the best! I got nothing prepared for my class so I did that after I had a quick dinner, when I got home. I also finished up my projects for today’s blog hop and ran a few errands! Oh how I love to get as much as humanly possible accomplished in one day! Today I have the Magic of Vellum Class that I will be finishing up getting ready for when I get to the store this morning! I also might get to take a trip into Manhattan over the weekend! Now that would be fun!! 😀
For my projects today I’m participating in a blog hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from my talented friend Tina’s blog, welcome! This month we have a a Birthday Bash theme! Who doesn’t love to make some birthday cards?! I have a card and a gift box that I made with some Altenew goodness to share with you!
First up is the card and the base for that is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I die cut a piece of my favorite Gold Mirror Card with the Spellbinders Damask Motifs Die and adhered it to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. My flowers and leaves are from the Altenew Peony Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers in Soft Lilac, Lavender Fields, Deep Iris and Midnight Violet and the leaves in Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card with Dot Runner Adhesive and 3D Foam Squares. My greeting is from the Altenew Beautiful Lady Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Solar White 80lb that is backed with some more Gold Mirror Card. I flagged the left side and adhered it to the card with more 3D Foam Squares. A little scattering of Pretty Pink Posh Gold, Amethyst and Lime Sorbet Sequins finishes off the card! I don’t know why but I’m completely addicted to purples lately and I think that the flowers from the Peony Bouquet Set look stunning in them!
Next up is my Pillow Box/Gift Card Holder. I cut out some Neenah Solar White 80lb with the Lawn Fawn Pillow Box Lawn Cuts and adhered the box together with Scor-Tape. Another die from the Spellbinders Damask Motifs set is cut out from some more Gold Mirror Card and adhered to the box with some more Scor-Tape. I added another one of the flowers and some leaves that I stamped along with the ones for the card on top of the die cut and added a piece of Glitter Light Purple Washi Tape across the bottom of the flowers to ground them a bit. Some more of the same Pretty Pink Posh Sequins as I used on the card are added and the box is done! What a fun way to give someone special a card with a matching gift card holder! Beats just sticking it in the card!
I hope that you enjoyed my card and pillow box for the OSAT Birthday Bash Blog Hop! You can click on the button below to continue on with the tour and you will go on to see what my fabulous friend Dena has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! 🙂

Good Morning Justin:
Well, I don’t swoon over many things but this card – well, let’s just say I did this time. Such amazingly beautiful flowers and breathtaking color combinations. The card is better then anything Hallmark every produced in its entire history. Hold onto it until my birthday in December and then go ahead and mail it on to me. I’ll wait – not patiently but I’ll wait.
Like Linda – I’m itching to stamp up that Cardinal stamp! Actually I’m itching to stamp up any stamp at this point. I have to finish cutting for my nephew’s anniversary quilt and put it away until after the holidays. I haven’t made a card in two months and I’m in withdrawal. Can’t make cards with fabric all over the place and can’t make quilts with ink all over the place. I’ve decided I need 2 craft rooms. One for quilting and one for stamping. After all, the hubs has two antique trucks so I deserve it right? LOL
It’s really uncomfortably hot and humid here today. I actually have the A/C on just to take the moisture out of the air. Company coming this weekend and I think that’s the last of it for a while but around here one can never be too sure. You have yourself a Thoroughly Terrific Thursday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO 🙂
Hello Grace!
Aww… yay! WOW! Better than anything that Hallmark ever produced! Woo hoo! I will hold on to it just for you my friend!
Yeah, that Hero order took FOREVER to get here! I can’t wait to play with that set and the deer! Two months?!?! OMG! I would have shriveled up and died by now! LOL! Ha ha! Yes, you definitely should have two craft rooms! Fair is fair!
It was warm here yesterday, but I love it and you know that! There is a lovely breeze down by the store all the time so it’s actually really nice! I hope that you enjoy your company! My Thursday was loads of fun, hope that the same is true for you! Love and hugs! XOXO 🙂
Justin, OMG… Gorgeous! The card is amazing and I love the box. Your work is always awesome. I also love meeting new, creative people. ~Pam
