Weather, better yesterday. The Stamp, Ink, Paper Store was good like it always is. I started making the haunted house prototype, now that I have an idea I can make the final one and get that going. Have to start working on the cards for next month’s card class too! See, it’s not all crafty fun all the time! LOL! After work I got to see my little Daniel for a bit and then Heather came by and got me and we ran to BJ’s. From there we stopped at George’s and then I stopped home to get my car and went over to Heather’s for some coffee and Heather time! Today, more projects need to get finished! Focus Justin! π
So, it’s Wednesday, I’m over on the Paper Craft Crew blog for a color challenge…
I like a little color challenge with some leeway! My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Fo my background I used the Reverse Confetti Office Edges Dies on a piece of Putty and adhered it to the card with E-Z Runner. The tag is a piece of Gold Mirror Card that I cut out with the Topped Off Tag Confetti Cuts and then I used the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts to emboss it. On the top is a piece of Lemon Sorbet die cut with the Hang Ups Too Confetti Cuts. I adhered the tag to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My coffee cup is form the Reverse Confetti Caffeinated Cups Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Emerald Green and Cup O Joe. I used the coordinating Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts to cut the pieces out. For the funky flowers I usedΒ the Blooms ‘N Buds Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped them in Butter Bar, Emerald Green, Tide Pool and Navy and then cut them out with the Coordinating Blooms ‘N Buds Confetti Cuts. All of the stamped images are adhered to the tag with 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner. My greeting is from the Be A Barista Photopolymer Stamp Set. I heat embossed it in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Dark Molasses with the right side flagged. Some 3D Foam Squares adhere it to the tag and a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold, Peacock and Sea Breeze Sequins complete the card! I have quite a bit of Reverse Confetti but don’t get to use it as much as I would like to! I love those funky flowers and the way the woodgrain looks on the gold tag! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Color Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter your in the gallery. Thank you for coming by to see what I’m up to today! Enjoy your Wednesday peeps! π

Thanks so much Nancy! So nice to see you yesterday! π
I love the colors, superb and the message is very true!
great day
π
Thank you so much Magali! Hope you had a good day! π
Great color combo, Justin. I love all the different elements, especially the embossed Gold Mirror Card. It has a sweet sentiment. I’m going to a coloring class this afternoon, which is always fun and calming. Have a great day!
Thanks HJ! I love the way the gold tag looks with the woodgrain embossing too! Oh, your coloring class sounds like fun! Hope you enjoyed your day! π
WOW Justin – you really put a lot of elements together on this one. The saying is wonderful and oh so true but one of these days I hope they make a stamp that says tea instead of coffee. Yup, the old lady here is a tea total-er! Coffee doesn’t like me – at all. It smells so good, it looks so delicious but if I drink it I regret it. I envy you folks that can drink coffee and a pretty glass of wine, yet another allergy of mine. Stay young, all this nonsense creeps up on you as you age and one day BOOM!, Kind of like a scary Halloween trick. I digress (yeah, like that never happens) – If you agave me all the elements you have on this card in a pile I wouldn’t have a clue where to start to assemble the card. You, on the other hand dear friend, knew exactly where to put them. Is it like a puzzle when you start or do you know what you are going to do before hand? Whichever it is, it works. You have yourself a Whoopie Pie Wednesday. That seems to make the folks around here happy. LOL Love and hugs to you, XXOO π
Yes, I did Grace! I love the saying too! My family in England would agree with you about the tea too! I love coffee!! I also do enjoy a glass of wine! LOL! I hope that I can always drink coffee like I do! Ha ha! We all digress, it makes life a little more fun! I did have a lot of fun with the card, especially those funky flowers! I can usually picture the card in my mind! Thank you! I don’t know if I have ever had a whoopee pie! I’ll have to get on that! Hope that you had a fantastic day! Love and hugs back to you! XOXO π
Gorgeous! I love how you blended all your elements and how you worked the colors.
Cool and rainy or I should say stormy here all day long. weatherman promised us 90’s, so sad, last day of summer cold and dreary
Thanks very much Linda! I do love that flower set, pretty funky!
Sorry that you didn’t have nice weather like you were promised, the weather men do that all the time! π
I’m not a coffee drinker but I do love that stamp and card!
I’m a coffee junkie Linda! But yes, even if I wasn’t I would love that stamp! Thanks so much! π
