It was a gloomy day here on Long Island yesterday, it rained on and off. They continued the construction at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store but this time it was really noisy! Hopefully it will be done soon! I worked on a few projects at the Store and my friend Dianne stopped by, always nice to see her! I went straight over to Heather’s after work. She is leaving tomorrow for Florida, there will be no Thirsty Thursday this week. We had a nice evening, got some Subway for dinner and I helped her pack. This morning I’m off to Manhattan for a bit to see Ella. We know how I enjoy a little trip into the city!
For my projects today I’m participating in a blog hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from my friend Pam Staples blog, welcome! This month we have a Let it Snow theme! Not that I want it to snow at all! LOL!! I have a card and some coordinating gift tags that I made with one of my favorite Hero Arts Sets to share with you!
First up is the card! I started with a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and added a piece of Echo Park This & That 12×12 Paper for my background. I stamped the coffee cup from the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags & Dies Combo in Lime Green using my Mini MISTI to stamp it twice. The whipped cream is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Puff Embossing powder and then the cup and cream are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. My mittens and greeting are from the Hero Arts Christmas Mittens Stamp & Die Combo and are heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut out the mittens and flagged the left side of the greeting banner. They are all adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. I added just a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and a Gold Heat Embossed holly bunch to the coffee cup and the card is done! I do love that Coffee Cup Set… hmmm… might have something to do with my obsession with coffee?! 😀
Next I have three gift tags. They were super easy to make especially since I stamped them at the same time I stamped the pieces for the card! The sleeve and to and from are stamped in Red Royal. I punched a hole in the left side and added some Lawn Fawn Green Sparkle Single Cord Lawn Trimmings. For a little extra something I heat embossed one of the snowflakes from the Holiday Mittens Stamp & Die Combo in Hero Arts White Puff Embossing Powder and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. They are adhered to the tags with 3D Foam Squares. Quick and easy Holiday tags, way better than store bought!
I hope that you enjoyed my card and gift tags for the OSAT Let it Snow Blog Hop! You can click on the continue button below to start the tour from the beginning and you will see what the talented Anna Smith has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! 🙂

Hi Justin,
LOVE these tags!!! So cute! The card is adorable too. This set would be great for gift card holders as well.
Have fun in the city. I’m jealous. We haven’t been there since we moved to South Jersey.
Hi Gerri!
Thank you! Yes, it would work well for gift card holders too! I do love my little trips into Manhattan! The hope in Bryant Park are open, I need to go there! 🙂
Justin your card is gorgeous but I am in love with those tags!!! So fabulous!
Thank you so much Sandy! They were quick and easy to make! 🙂
AHA!! You mentioned the “S” word before I did this year! lOL I was trying to be really nice and not mention the unmentionable but since you have done it today I now have free run for the rest of the season! Ta Da!!!!
Meanwhile back at the ranch, I love that puff white embossing powder. I need to order some of that from you soon. Your card and gift tags are awesome. Those mittens are so realistic looking that you can almost feel the softness of them on your hands. I’d have to say “hands down” (yes I’m on a roll, LOL) this is one fantastic card and gift tag set and would be such a gift for all your friends at this special time of year.
You have yourself a Tantalizing Thursday in Manhattan today. Wish I was with you. The sun is shining and the wind isn’t horrible so it would be a great time to be in the Village. Love and hugs to you my friend. XXOO 🙂
Ha ha! You are too funny! LOL! Yes, I mentioned Snow, it’s inevitable! I hope that any that we get I am able to send to you!
I think that the White Puff EP is really neat! Not too puffy but it has a really nice texture to it! I am going to make more of the tags, I’ll try them in different colors!
I had a very nice time in the city! It was very nice weather wise, I didn’t get down to the Village, next time! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
Great card and tags. I love your signature sequins–when I try to use then, they look messy but your cards don’t look complete without them! Love the puffy embossing powder for depth too.
Thanks so much Susan! I do love my sequins and I feel that they definitely complete a card! The White Puff EP is great! 🙂
Justin, The card with the mittens is so adorable and I LOVE the tags. The puffy embossing powder is cool.
Hi Pam!
Thank you! I do love that White Puff EP and the stamp set is definitely one of my faves for the Holidays! 🙂
I didn’t get a preview of the tags when I saw the card! I love them. This would be perfect for someone gifting a Keurig or some Starbucks cards at Christmas! I love a theme!
LOL! That’s because I hadn’t made them yet Linda! Thank you! Yes! A great set for a coffee lover indeed! I too love a theme! Hope that you had a great day! 🙂
I LOVE THAT COFFEE CUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I die! And je adore the choice of lime with red!! Once again, you have led me down the path of Got2ownit Street at the corner of Enabling and Itsonlymoney.
Thank you Ann! I love the coffee set too and the bright green is a nice change from the traditional darker green! It makes the tags a little happier! That’s such a great quote! I’m going to use it for sure!! 🙂
Oh I LOVE THIS!!!!!!! Especially with those mittens holding the coffee. Definitely on my to make list! Do you like the puff embossing powder. I know, this will shock you, I have it but have not tried it yet, LOL.
Thanks so much Linda! I thought that mittens were the perfect size to hold the coffee cup! I do love the White Puff EP, it has really nice texture! What?! LOL! Go and give it a try! 🙂
These are just so adorable Justin! I love anything coffee and then you add these cute mittens and it is just a fabulous combination! Love the puffy embossing powder! I guess I better put that on my wish list.. you are such an enabler! 🙂
Thanks so much Tina! I’m a big coffee fan too and I thought that the mittens worked well with the cup and greeting! The Puff EP is great! Me… enabler… never! LOL! Hope you are having a fun weekend! 🙂
Your card made me think of being out on a cold day with my hands wrapped around a hot cup of coffee. Your card or tags would be perfect for the many coffee gift cards I share this time of year.
Thanks so much Sara! That’s the image that I got to when I finished the card! 🙂
Very cute! They warm me up just looking at them!
Thanks Anna!! 🙂
