It’s funny how someone as cute as that little boy Daniel can wreak so much havoc! He successfully got my Mum, Taylor and I all sick! I haven’t been sick in over 4 years! When I went to Walgreen’s to get a decongestant I had no idea what to buy! The one that I did get did nothing! I have gone through an entire box of tissues today! Enough complaining! LOL! I did manage to go to the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store and get some of my things done. My friend Janine stopped by, always nice to see her. I did leave around 4:00 and when I came home all I wanted to do was take a nap. Taylor had already claimed the couch so I went into the bedroom. I should have turned off my phone because it didn’t stop! LOL! Finally I got a call from Heather asking me if I wanted to run to IKEA and stop and get some dinner so I figured might as well! We did have a nice time and I managed to get home by 9:30, typed my posts for today and crawled into bed. Hopefully I will be feeling a little better as today goes on! I hate being sick! π
On a happy note it’s time for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge…
I dug around in my stash and found another Holiday set that I thought I could turn into a non-Holiday card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Hexagon Dies to cut out some Black and Chinese Red, making one of them a frame. To the back of that frame I adhered a piece of Acetate and then a layer of 3M Foam Tape to create a well for some Pretty Pink Posh 3mm Sparkling Clear and Gold Sequins. I adhered a large red hexagon to the back and then adhered all of the hexagons to the card. My bear and cup are from the Pretty Pink Posh Winter Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I used my Copics to color them in and then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. They are adhered to the right side of the shaker with 3D Foam Squares. The greeting is from the Pretty Pink Posh Fox Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set and is also stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I was going to add some more sequins but I thought that it would take away from the nice simple design. I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Black, White and a Pop of Color Challenge! We hope that you will take some time and share your card with us in the gallery! Head over the BLOG, the rest of the Team has some great inspiration cards for you! Thank you so much for stopping by here! Have a terrific Tuesday! π

Love the card! Feel better soon.
Thanks so much Anita!! π
I haven’t had a cold for eons, but the only thing that ever works for me is Nyquil. I love your cards, especially the last couple of years. They really are exquisite.
I haven’t missed being sick at all Paula! I will get some Nyquil! Thank you very much! Glad that you are still enjoying my work! π
HI Justin:
For some reason today’s card struck me as very “oriental”. Perhaps it is the black, red, gold combo but I thought it was very elegant and the positioning of the hexagons was perfect. Showing the progression of the Hexagons and having the red hexagon first appear outside then inside is fantastic. Very avant guarde Mr. Krieger! Love it.
Sorry you are as miserable as I am. If you find something over the counter that actually helps please share as I have not been successful at all. Go home, go to bed. Love ya, XXOO π
Very cute! Love the hexagons. Feel better, I hate having a cold, your feelso bad and nothing realy helps. Try Nyquil or my hubby swears by akla Selser cold. tasyes yucky but you can breath.
Horrible day here, yea! we made it to 45, but grey thick clouyds and heavy rain. But the winds are so high that it feels like its in the teens. Oh, well beats snow.
Take care
Thanks Linda! I haven’t used hexagons in forever! I’m little better today. My nose is not running off my face! We are to be in the 50’s today! Sorry that your weather is crappy, soon it will be Spring! π
So sorry you’re sick! Everyone I know that has gotten sick this season says it’s the worst they’ve ever had and nothing seems to work! Oh dear, that wasn’t very comforting! I do hope you get well soon–rest as much as you can! Your card–as usual–is great! Love the geometric quality!
Me too Ann! LOL! It’s been so long I guess I really can’t complain! Glad that you enjoyed the card! Have a great day! π
Love the card! I am reading these posts backwards so I know you are starting to feel better. Just wanted to let you know that I swear by this cold medicine now: https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/walgreens-cold/flu-day/night-liquid-caps/ID=prod6272809-product. It’s a generic Nyquil. The nighttime one knocked me out and I actually slept for 8 hours straight! Fell better!
Thanks Linda!! I will pick some of that up on the way home today! Thanks! Hope you are better too! π
COOL, fun creation! Love shakers…I just wish they loved me back!
Thanks LeAnne! LOL! That’s very funny! π
