Ahh… the weekend! Yesterday we had fun at the Store with the last of the peeps for the March Lawn Fawn Card Class. I had some of the delicious pork loin that Jim gave me for lunch! Renee and I discussed upcoming classes and I made my card for today. When I got home there was a dog in the backyard. My neighbor upstairs came out and we checked the tags, turns out he lives down the street so he walked him home. I had a little dinner with my Parents and then came home and straightened up a bit. Jim came by and we watched Deadpool, very funny movie! Today there is not a lot going on at the Store so I’ll be able to catch up on some things! π
I do have to share the picture of Daniel and Tristan that my Sister-in-Law took of them in their St. Patrick’s Day outfits…
How cute are they?!
I got to play with a new set from Sunny Studio to make my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
All of the images and greeting are from the Sunny Studio City Streets Photopolymer Stamp Set. I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the buildings, light post and greeting onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. To make the sidewalk and road I used a Copic Multiliner and my trusty ruler. My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I flagged pieces of Chinese Red and Pale Aqua and adhered them to the card. On top of that is another piece of Chinese Red. The stamped panel is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. MyΒ car is stamped and colored in with Copics with a little Stardust Pen added to the wheels and trim, some fussy cutting (I didn’t have the dies) and the car is ready to be adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. I like the buildings left not colored in, it really makes the car pop! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge! Thanks for stopping by to see me today! Have a super Saturday! π

Hi Justin, Daniel and Tristin’s picture is super. I like your card too and think you should change up one of the stores to the SIP store.
π
Hello Nancy!
Thanks! They are pretty cute kids! Glad that you like the card too! That would be a great idea to make one of the stores mine! π
A turtle neck on Daniel! He looks so grown up! Tristan is soooo beautiful! Did you stamp her skirt? Gorgeous!
I love city scenes and this one is no exception. I perceived the stores popped instead of the car, which came out great – love the hubcaps. My best friend in college had a red VW bug like yours – ah, nostalgia!
Have a sunny Saturday! Love to you and hugs to the darling kids, Nancy B
Danile is getting really grown up Nancy! Too fast too! I wish I could say that I did stamp the skirt!
I love city stamps too and this one is super cute! I thought the building looked cool black and white and they are pretty detailed to color in! Glad that I took you back! Hope you enjoyed your Saturday!! I’ll send your hugs along!! π
Love this card, stamps and dies.
Thank you so much Glenna! π
I like Nancy Farrell’s idea of changing the name on one of the shops to SIP Store. Good thinking Nancy! And, like Nancy Baxter, I too love city scenes on cards. Love that you made the VW bug pop with the red color. Just a fun card all around and a great way to tell a friend you want to see them.
Tristan and Daniel are jut two of the cutest little ones around and Erica does one heck of a great job both with her fashion consciousness and photography. Love Tristan’s little tights! LOL I would have to smother this kids with kisses every time I saw them. You are so lucky to be the Uncle Justin……………always there to have fun but never having to discipline! I bet they both love Winston too. You have yourself a Super Saturday my friend. Love and hugs to you, XXOO π
Yes, that was a great idea Grace! I’ll have to do that! You know that I like a city scene!
Thanks! They are really cute! Erika really does do a super job of dressing them! I do give them loads of kisses and I’m very lucky indeed! Yes, they do love Winston and he’s so good with them! Hope you had a great day! Love and hugs to you! XOXO π
