Thankfully they were wrong about the snow again! It flurried for a little while and then turned to rain. We had a bunch of visitors at the Store today including my friend Jodi and a new customer! I worked on cards most of the day, I’m taking today off so I wanted to get ahead a little. Renee left early to go and celebrate her grandson’s Birthday, I hope that she had a good time! I had dinner with my Parents when I got home and then spent some time with Taylor before heading over to see Sue. She needed a little assistance with a new wireless router that she got. We got that all set up and all of the devices connected! On the way home I stopped at Target to pick up a few things and then relaxed for the rest of the evening. Today Β have some cleaning to do, fun Sunday! LOL! π
I was in the mood to color and not be very particular about it so I stamped the Concord & 9th Hello Lovely Photopolymer Stamp Set onto a piece of Solar White 80lb with my MISTI. To color in the image I used Prismacolor Pencils, adding some French Gray around the image to give it some depth. The panel is mounted to a base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins are added. A very simple but bright and fun card, and it’s technically one layer too! I hope that you like today’s card! I thank you so much for stopping by and wish you a nice Simple Sunday! π

Well Justin – you brightened your dreary day with lots of happy, spring colors. Way to go! I must admit I admire people that are into coloring like you and my sister. I tried but I just can’t get into it. There are so many beautifully colored cards to look at and admire and the pencils and markers available on the market are just amazing.
Glad to hear the shop was so busy yesterday. It makes the day go faster and it’s such fun to see and talk to many different people during the day. That is the one thing, in fact the only thing, I miss since retiring. You have yourself a Super Sunday off from work. Love and hugs to you my friend, XXOO π
Yay! I really do love when you tell me that I got to brighten your day with a card! I do like to color every so often, and pencils are my favorite to use, I do need to get better with them!
I love when the shop is busy, it should be like that every day! I do enjoy talking to the customers! I had a good day, got lots of cleaning done! Much needed! Love and hugs to you! XOXO π
Beautiful. I can almost smell those spring flowers. Nothing but sunshine here. Still cold, but at leat we have sun.
I need to get back to emptying out my scrapbook room. This is a nightmare, but it will be well worth it in the end
Thank you Linda!! Glad that you had a nice sunny day! We did too! It was chilly but not too bad!
I hope that you got your room all done!! π
Love this beautiful springy card, Justin. Those colors are bright and cheery. I love the pale gray detail around the flowers for depth. I’m always looking for tips and that is easy but very effective. Thanks for always sharing new techniques we can make our own. Snow is hanging around but not bothersome, except where it melts on the roads, the car in front sprays my windshield. I’m hoping with the warmer temps this week, it will all be gone soon for 2017!!! I can always hope, right? Have a great day off!
Thank you very much HJ! I did make sure the card was extra bright! I have seen Kathy Rac shade around flowers and I love the look! I hate when all of the snow melts and the cars are filthy from the road spray too! I can’t wait for the snow to be all gone!! Hope you enjoyed your day! π
