I have been liking Sunday’s as my day off! The one day crop at the Store yesterday was fun as always! I made some cards with Evelyn and Susan, that was a lot of fun! After work I came home and visited with my Parents for a bit and then Jim came over and we watched Rogue One – A Star Wars Story and then ran out for some late night Diner! I haven’t done that in a long time! Today I think that I have some craftiness on tap and then who knows?! I’m sure it will be a good day! π
My friend Sue called me the other day and told me that she was going to place and order with Lil’ Inker and there is a stamp set that I have wanted from them for a long time! That’s what I used to make today’s card! The base is Neenah Solar white 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the images from the Lil’ Inker Tribal Chic Photopolymer Stamp Set in Lawn Fawn Grape Soda, Ballet Slippers and Minty Fresh Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. That is then adhered to a piece of Black and then adhered to the card. My greeting is from the Lil’ Inker The Fine Print Photopolymer Stamp Set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I used the Lil’ Inker Dual Stitched Triangle Dies to cut out the greeting and a few pieces of Black. They are adhered to the card with E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Orchid and Onyx Sequins and the card is done. I really do love that very different greeting set! So clever! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks for spending some of your Sunday with me! Have a simple and fun day! π

After missing your blog the past couple of days, I can’t believe I’m the first to comment today. This is a really cute card that gets your attention right away before you read between the lines. I like the colors and the tribal chic background along with the PPP sequins. Yesterday was in the 70’s but today is back in the 50’s and overcast. At least we don’t have to shovel it, right??? Take care. Enjoy your day!
Thanks HJ!! I thought the sentiment was great, but not everyone has the same sense of humor as me I guess! LOL! We need to have a few days in the 70’s and yes, at least we are not shoveling! Hope you had a good day! π
Boy Justin – this stamp set really reflects your personality and sense of humor! LOL You are the epitome of a long Islander. The card is perfect to catch a good friend off guard. Love, love, love it. I also love the way companies are naming their inks. So much more fun then red, blue, yellow. I mean really – when Hero Arts named one of it’s inks as Green Apple and Lawn Fawn named one of it’s Pink Bubblegum I knew exactly what shade of green and pink those inks would be. It makes choosing inks to use so much easier. Thanks for carrying them in your store.
Sounds like you had a good day yesterday. Good for you. I got quite a lot accomplished yesterday also for a change. Right now the sun is brightly shining but the weather people say by afternoon the clouds will roll in and the temperatures will drop once again. Oh well, when you live in New England you have to expect changes on a daily basis. Have yourself a Sensational Sunday my friend. Racing is from California this afternoon so it should be exciting. Love and hugs to you, XXOO π
LOL! Thanks Grace! I thought it was a very me set! I love the greeting and there are a bunch of others in the set that are equally as much fun! I like when the companies name inks with fun names instead of boring ones! I was good the other day ands watched all of my Lawn Fawn Inks, I found out I’m missing quite a few! Uh oh!
I did have a nice day! I love a little surprise visit! We have the same weather here, it’s not just you! Hope you had a lovely Sunday! Mine was fantastic! Love and hugs to you! XOXO π
Caught my attn, love the sentiment! I really like the Tribal Chic Photopolymer Stamp Set background and the colors!!!
Still cold and dreary here. Hubby and I are off to a late breakfast then off to catch a movie. My son said it was a great film so we will see. room is almost emptied, rest of stuff hubby and son need to move out. (LOL, scary how much stuff you find that fel behind desks or that I forgot about) So I’m treating myself today.
LOL! Thanks Linda! It’s a fun sentiment! The Tribal Chic Set is fun and different too! Glad that you had some hubby time! What movie did your son say to see? You made short work of the room! That’s great! All the stuff that you found is like new again! π
