The start of a new week and they are calling for about a foot of snow for tomorrow! Really?! It’s March people, enough already! LOL! I played hooky from the Store yesterday, I have so many things that I need to get done around the house and I just needed a real day off! I went over to Heather’s in the morning and her George and I had breakfast. After that she and I went food shopping. When we got back I helped George put up some crown moulding and then Heather and I came back to my house to a bit of cleaning. I’m happy to report that I have a dining room table! Around 4:00 Taylor stopped by and then my friend Jim came over. We went to BestBuy and BJ’s to pick ups a few things, picked up dinner and had a nice meal at said table! After that we worked on a little project. Today I’m back at the Store with a little catching up to do! 😀
Monday’s mean that it’s time for a new Mojo Monday sketch…
I played with some new stamps from Sunny Studio for today’s card! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with a strip of Bo Bunny Double Dot Wasabi Stripe Paper, torn on the top and bottom, adhered down the left side. My flowers and greeting are from the Sunny Studio Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers and leaves in Lawn Fawn Ballet Slippers, Bubblegum, Lobster, Jalapeño and Noble Fir Ink with my Mini MISTI and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. My background is a piece of Solar White 80lb, I used my Mini Ink Blending Tool to add some Merman Ink to it and trimmed off the edges. The greeting is stamped in Noble Fir and the panel is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My flowers are added with a Quickie Glue Pen and 3D Foam Squares. I was going to add some Sequins or Clear Drops but decided that I like the card just the way it was! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for starting another week off here with me! Have a marvelous Monday! 🙂

What a pretty springlike card, Justin. I love the beautiful multi-layered tulips with dies. Even with the snow on its way, this card puts me in a spring mood. I hope they are wrong about the amount of snow we’re going to get. Stay safe. Warm hugs sent your way, my friend.
Thank you HJ! I love that set! Nice and simple! I’m trying to make the snow go away! LOL! I hope they are wrong too! I don’t need 12-18 inches! Yikes! Stay warm and safe my friend! Hugs back to you! 🙂
Nice Spring card!
Thanks Marilyn! 🙂
Justin,
So pretty! I’m ready for spring!!! At least we have daylight savings time now.
Thanks Gerri! I’m so ready for Spring too! I do enjoy the lighter evenings! Now if the snow would skip us I’d be a very happy boy! 🙂
Hi Justin:
Today’s card would not only be “the” perfect spring card it would also be a perfect card for Easter. The ladies in our family traditionally get a plant from their children at Easter. Tulip, Hydrangea and Daffodil are the most often received. After my girls got married their husbands bought me a plant the first Easter. That is when I ended the tradition. LOL I told them I wasn’t an old lady so NOT to buy me a plant at Easter ever again. I guess I put fear into their hearts because I’ve never received an Easter plant again. So, even though I am old I’m not feeling old. You gotta’ feel sorry for my sons-in-law! Too funny. Enjoy today, you know what’s coming tomorrow. Love and hugs and wishes for a Magnificent Monday to you my friend. XXOO 🙂
Hello Grace!
Thank you! Yes, it would make a fun Easter card! LOL! It’s nice to get a plant! We used to get my grandmother one every year. Oh, I see the old lady correlation now! You are a very funny woman! I will not enjoy what’s coming at all thank you! Have a fun day my friend! XOXO 🙂
Love today’s card! I only wish I was seeing tulips in my yard! I stopped by the store yesterday to pick up my Lawn Fawn pre-order. Sorry I didn’t get the chance to chat with you! Til next time!
Thank you Linda! I’m sorry that I missed you too! Hope to see you soon! 🙂
oh Tulips, my favorite Spring flower. And beleve me I need Spring, even though its only 7 days away, it is taking too long to come. Monday, Day from Hell! The white crap came as predicted, and even thought we nly had 1.5 inches, and the roads were salted and clear it took 90 minutes to get to work! I only live 17 miles away. I swear people drive like idiots, You woud think we never had snow. Although was the first snow of the year, No snow in Jan or Feb. But really I should not complaimn, I see and hear what is coming your way!Yikes.
Beautiful card
I love Tulips too Linda! We both need Spring and it’s making sure that we remember why! People cannot drive in rain or snow! It’s terrible here when we get any kind of weather! We didn’t get anywhere near as much snow and I was really happy! 🙂
A touch of spring on a snowy day!! Such a lovely card and tulips are my favorite!!! Stunning design!!
We all need as much Spring as we can get Nora! Thank you so much! 🙂
