Oh, it’s Monday already. The weekend really does go so fast! I did have a very nice day off! I ran a few errands in the morning and then Jim came over with lunch and we worked on his crafty project a little more. The rest of the evening was spent watching a TV and just being. It felt so nice to do not much at all. Today back in the swing of things at the Store! 😀
It’s Monday and time for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…
My card starts off with a base of Ivory 110lb Card Stock. The notebook paper is a piece of Authentique 12×12 from the Twisted Collection. I adhered it to a piece of Black and then added some May Arts Ribbon around the middle. A piece of Echo Park Wintertime This & That 12×12 is adhered to a piece of Chinese Red and that is adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. My image and greeting are from the Hero Arts Welcome Home Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored in the bunny with Prismacolor Pencils and adhered him and the greeting to the card with 3D Foam Squares. A few Pretty Pink Posh Raspberry and Sparkling Clear Sequins and the card is done! I love that simple cozy little bunny sitting on the pillow, so cute! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card for this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards, we hope to see your take on the sketch in the gallery! Thank you for starting your week off here with me! Have an amazing Monday! 🙂

Good Monday Morning Justin:
The bunny is so dang cute and it pops right out at you. I think the reason is that you used that little bit of Chinese Red card stock to back up the Echo Park paper. What a great card for Easter.
Sounds like you had an enjoyable day off and that is what a day off is supposed to be – enjoyable. The weather here has turned yucky again so it’s a good day to stay in and work on this quilt that I so desperately want to get finished so I can make some cards. I’m excited about getting my order today or tomorrow. Usually we have our mail by 9 a.m. but, I think because I’m anxious to get my order the mail lady is teasing me by delivering later then usual. She is the best mail person ever and we have become friends. You have yourself a Marvelous Monday my friend. Love & Hugs to you. XXOO 🙂
Hello Grace!
Thanks! I like him, he’s nice and simple! I like a little red to give something a nice pop!
I did have a very nice day off! There is no better way than to spend it with a great person! The crappy weather can be good to get us to finish things that we need to! I checked and you should have your order! I’m glad that you have a good mail lady, ours here at the store is great too! Hope you enjoyed your morning and got your stuff done! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
Love this card- great image & nice combo of papers!
Thank so much Marilyn! 🙂
Too cute!!! I love the non Eaater colors, proof this set can be used for many occasions, or should I say reasons.
Yep,, Its a shame the weekends go by so quick. I need a job that is 4 days a week, too bad I’m a nurse and healthcare is a 7 day business. Hubby and I saw “Get Out” yesterday, interesting suspense movie. Lots of twists and turns. I woud not rate it as the #1 movie of the year but it was pretty good.
Not much craftig going on since my room is torn up, thank god for kits! LOL
Take care
Thanks Linda! I really do like that set a lot! It is a good one for just about anything!
I hate that weekends always fly! I’m with you, I need a 4 day a week job not a 7 day one! LOL! I’ll have to add that movie to my list!
I hope that you get your room back together quickly! 🙂
