Another rainy overcast day but that didn’t matter because of the crop inside the Store! I had fun as I always do! Got to spend some time with my friend Evelyn, we chatted about her upcoming trip to London and Europe. After work I came home and had some dinner. Then I decided that it was time to do some cleaning so I tackled the closet in the dining room and threw out a nice big black garbage bag of crap! Feels good to purge! Today I’m off and I don’t have a lot planned so we’ll see where the day takes me! π
I have yet another stamped background card to share with you today! I used the Concord & 9th Fill-In Phrases Photopolymer Stamp Set to stamp my background in Moonstone and Minty Fresh Ink onto a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My sentiment is heat embossed in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of 48lb Vellum. To adhered it to the card I used Kool-Tak Clear Foam Tape and hid teeny tiny pieces behind the embossing. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins and the card is finished! As you can see I’m really enjoying the stamped backgrounds! I hope that you like today’s card! Thanks for stopping by and have a simple Sunday! π

I love the way you emboss on vellum Justin! Do you first use any anti-static on the vellum before you stamp on it? I have a question – can you emboss on acetate without melting and disfiguring it? You’re background today is especially eye catching. I love the double and triple stamp sets. The stamps these days keep getting more amazing all the time.
I hope whatever you decide to day today you have fun doing it. I was thrilled to see that we actually have sunshine today, it’s been dreary here for too many days in a row. Also, congratulations on purging an entire bag of stuff. I avoid the purging until my girls are here to help me. They are amazingly wonderful helpers. I don’t know what I would ever accomplish without them. You have yourself a Sensational Sunday my friend. Love & Hugs to you! XXOO π
Thanks Grace! Yes, I always use an EK Success Powder Tool before I heat emboss. They actually see heat resistant acetate and that you can heat emboss on! I’m really loving the stamped backgrounds lately!
I had a quiet day but I did get outside and enjoy some of the sun that we had. It really does feel good to get rid of things that I haven’t touched in years. I agree that it’s nice to have a helper! Hope you enjoyed your day! Love and hugs to you! XOXO π
Sunny skies are coming your way, it has been cool here but beautiful! I love this card, especially the embossing on vellum.
Yep, I need to purge, my room is almost done and everything that I took out will not go back in.
Thanks so much for sending the sun Linda! Glad that you like the card!
LOL! You just need to organize! π
Very Pretty! Love the vellum.
Thanks Gerri! π
Cool card! Just found out you have a store on Long Island – maybe I’ll take a trip out there one day! Had no idea…..always cool to meet fellow stampers!
Thank you Cornelia! Would be nice to see you at the Store! π
