Happy Monday! I had myself a little adventure yesterday! Heather and I drove up to Nashua New Hampshire to pick up her new car. We had a nice weather on the way there, it took a little longer to get things finished than we had hoped but in the end it all worked out. We stopped at Cracker Barrel for an early dinner, had a little rain in Connecticut on the way back but all in besides the fact that being in the car for 8 plus hours is a lot we had a good day! This morning I have a bunch of orders to get mailed out and I need to stop by the Store too. 😀
Today’s card is brought to you by this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…
I turned the sketch on it’s side! To start my card I heat embossed the Hero Arts Thank You with Flourishes Wood Mount Stamp in Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder onto a piece of White Gold Curious Metallic. To my card base of Ivory 110lb I adhered two strips of Copper Metallic with the ends flagged and on top of that is a piece of Black. The panel with the Thank You is adhered with E-Z Runner and Fun Foam. To give the card some shine I added some Pretty Pink Posh Rose Gold Sequins. Not a very complicated card but I love the mix of metallics and the nice bold Thank You! I hope that you enjoyed my Design Team card! Stop by the BLOG and see the inspiration that the rest of the Team has come up with and let’s see your card in the gallery! I thank you very much for starting your week off with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂

Glad to hear you had such a nice trip. That was a long drive. I love the copper embossing on your card using that great stamp. It certainly makes a quick and easy card. I haven’t used it in a while. Thanks for the inspiration. I’m glad to see the sun today, even though we have chilly temps. Enjoy your day.
It was a fun day but a long one on the car HJ! You know how I love a little heat embossing! 🙂
Pretty dang fancy dancey Thank You card you made there Justin. I just love that copper embossing powder and the stamp is gorgeous! Great Job.
Glad your trip to NH went well yesterday. I love Cracker Barrel because that is one of the very few places in the north that serves grits! The only other place is Denny’s and they don’t make theirs half as good as Cracker Barrel! 8 hours in the car in one day is something we used to do all the time in our 50’s and early 60’s. Not so much anymore! Our butts start to hurt after 4 hours. LOL At least you didn’t hit any real downpours and I’m actually surprised you made it to NH in 4 hours. Did you two have the peddle to the metal or what? Have yourself a memorable Monday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO 🙂
LOL! Thanks Grace!
I had the grits!! Love them! I am not a fan of the car for over 2 hours and that was way too long for me! I made it up in 3 1/2! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂
That copper is so rich. I love it, and the simple but elehant card.
Well another Monday down, LOL I keep wasting my life away wishing for Friday! I just have so much to do and no time. Take care
Thanks Linda!
We all keep wishing for Friday! 🙂
