Hello peeps! Well, we got a little reprieve from the rain yesterday but it’s supposed to be back today. I picked up Heather at the Car Wash at 8:00, dropped her off and then took her back around 12:00. From there I went over to Sue’s to see her and Michael. I helped Michael with his new MacBook Air, it’s about time! LOL! We had a nice visit! From there I stopped at Target on the way home, had a little dinner with my Parents, spoke to Jim for a while and watched a little TV before calling it a night. Today, more crafty things to do and organizing!
It’s Wednesday so it’s time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…
In my cleaning I have found so many things that I haven’t gotten to use! To change it up my card base is Black 110lb. For my background I heat embossed the stars from the Simon Says Stamp Seeing Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder onto a piece of Fog Card Stock. The top half is a piece of paper from the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss 6×6 Paper Pad. Across the middle is a strip of Gold Mirror Card. Before I adhered the panel to the card base I tied a piece of Hemptique Black Hemp Twine in a bow. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Congratulations Die form a piece of Gold Mirror Card and two pieces of Black 110lb. They are adhered to each other and to the card with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I added a few stars from the Little Things by Lucy Brushed Gold Sequins Mix and some Rhinestones for a little more sparkle! I still love that Congratulations Die, one of my faves! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks for visiting with me today! Have a wicked Wednesday!

Very beautiful card! I really like the stamp set. I like the way you photograph the stamp set with your card. It gives a great perspective of the possibilities! Of course, gold embossing always makes the scene. I would think you would get embossing powders by the gallons! Stay dry…hugs, Nancy B
Thank you Nancy! I got a little bored with the old way that I was doing my picture, it was time to change it up! I like the stamp and the dies in the picture too! You would be surprised how long the embossing powder last!! Hugs to you!
Justin,
Awesome card!!! That gold die cut, the gold embossing… love it all!
Hi Gerri!
Thank you!
Good Morning Justin:
Super Duper card today. Of course it’s the gold that really makes it stand out and I do love the way you stack word dies on top of each other to give them such dimension. You get them so perfectly aligned and with a long word like Congratulations that can’t be all that easy. All in all just a fabulous card.
I will be reading all the blogs I missed while on vacation and playing “catch up” for several days. I had a wonderful time but glad to be back home also. Manhattan was fantastic as always and yes, I would recommend “Wicked” to everyone. It was an amazing show in an amazing theater. The acoustics were the best I’ve ever experienced. Will send you some photos as soon as I download them. You have yourself a Wonderful Wednesday my friend. Love & Hugs to you! XXOO
