Paper Craft Crew 255

The gloomy Tuesday morning turned into a nice day around 1:00PM! I can deal with that! I did get a few things around the house completed in the morning and then I took my MacBook and sat outside in the afternoon! I do love a little sit outside! In the evening I went over to Jim’s for some dinner and more furniture refinishing! We are working on some chairs and an end table. Pictures when we are done of course! πŸ˜€

And we are at Wednesday so time for this week’s Paper Craft Crew challenge…

A card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock starts off today’s card. I used the Concord & 9th Globe Greetings Photopolymer Stamp Set to heat emboss the world onto a piece of Soft Sky with Hero Arts Copper Embossing Powder. The Coordinating Dies are used to cut it out. I also die cut a banner with the Concord & 9th Best Banners Dies from a piece of Black 110lb. The world is from the same stamp set and is heat embossed onto another piece of Black 110lb with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. Before IΒ adhered the globe to the card base with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner I added a piece of Copper Washi Tape. The world’s is adhered to the globe with 3D Foam Squares and the best with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. A little cascade of Pretty Pink Posh Copper Sequins and the card is done! I love the world’s best greeting, could be anything! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge!Β Thank you for stopping by! Make sure and come back at 11:00! I will have my post for this month’s Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th challenge! In the mean time enjoy your morning! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Justin:
I just love that copper embossing powder! I’m so glad I got it from you. It’s become my “go to” for embossing. I have found that there are a lot more ways to use this type stamp set then one would think. I have a set with a globe and I use the solid circle stamp for a sun, a beach ball and several other things. I do need to take a lesson from you and use more sequins in my cards. Your use of them always seems to be the perfect embellishment.
Yesterday turned into a really fun day. We met friends from CT in Freeport and had a fabulous lunch at the Muddy Rudder restaurant. I’m meeting a friend for lunch today and then tomorrow Toni-Lynn and her hubs will be arriving for a few days. I must admit this has been a very busy summer. Reminds me of the first summer we were here in Maine and had company every weekend except one from Memorial Day to 2 weeks past Labor day and that weekend we had a commitment ourselves so we weren’t here. I’m loving it. You have yourself a Wicked good Wednesday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Hello Grace!
I love the Copper EP too! That’s a clever idea for the stamp! I may have to steal that! I love my sequins, they add so much!
You had a really nice couple of days! I’m so glad that you enjoyed all of your company! It does sound like a wonderful time! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚
