Hey there! I had a very quiet day yesterday. Not my favorite kind of day but I guess they are necessary every once in a while. Other than some TV and a little work on the computer not much else happened. This morning I’m off to see Sue again for some Etsy work, that is always productive and fun! 😀
It’s mid-week and time for another Paper Craft Crew challenge…
I choose the row across the middle for my card and decided to use some of the leftovers on my desk to make it! I always stamp some extra when I make something in the hopes that I will use it and today I got to! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock cut to 3 3/4″ wide. My background is a piece of Desert Storm 80lb that I heat embossed the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Background onto with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder. The pumpkin is from the Hero Arts September My Monthly Hero Kit and is stamped in Orange Soda, Tangerine, Pumpkin Pie, Cup O Joe, Green Fields and Forever Green. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out and adhered it to a tag that is cut out with the Hero Arts Nested Tags Infinity Dies from another piece of Desert Storm 80lb. There is a little strip of Washi Tape across the bottom of the tag a piece of Natural Twine is tied through the top. My greeting is stamped in Pumpkin Pie with a few My Mind’s Eye Wicked Enamel Dots added. I adhered the tag to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and added a little Multi-Matte Medium to hold the twine in place. Love the bright pop of the orange pumpkin against the kraft! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and check out the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thank you for visiting with me today! Have a wonderful Wednesday! 🙂

Hi Justin:
I love the wood grain stamp and I’m really surprised how much I use it. It’s great for any season and any “themed” card. I never thought about using a tag for the main theme of a card and then attaching it to the card. Thanks for sharing that idea. You have yourself a Wonderful Wednesday my friend. Love & Hugs to you. XXOO 🙂
Hi Grace!
I am a sucker for some woodgrain! LOL! Thanks! Love and hugs! XOXO 🙂
Quiet days are good, we need them. I so love this HA kit, its my favorite since I joined in march.
I agree Linda. I really do love the HA kits, I think that I have only not gotten one! 🙂
