Happy last week of November?! Where on earth did this year go?!?! I hope that you all had a nice weekend and that if you shopped on Black Friday that you came out of it unscathed and with some great bargains! My weekend was not what I expected at all! Friday I was over Jim’s all day. We decorated his house for Christmas. He put up four trees!! Three full size ones and a small one. The house looks amazing, it’s just enough and so festive! On Saturday we decided that we would go over to an animal shelter in Freeport. I met him there and we looked at two dogs. The second one, a little Yorkie, was so cute. She was very friendly and we liked her a lot. Before I knew it we were bringing the owner back to my house for a home visit. In the car on the way back she called and told them to get the paperwork together. When we got back to the shelter Jim paid the fee for her and said Merry Christmas! So I’m happy to share a picture of the newest addition to my family, Cali…
Isn’t she just the cutest?! She is really good in the car and seems to have adjusted well to my house. I have taken her all over with me and she has been good as gold. I’m going to take her over to Jim’s to meet his dogs this week. I miss my Winston so much but I think he would have liked her a lot and would be happy that I get to share my time with her now! 😀
Let’s start the week off with a card for this week’s Paper Players challenge…
I finally received my November release from Concord & 9th after the Post Office had lost it for a week! I always end up using the set that I thought I wouldn’t first too! LOL! I stamped the bear from the Concord & 9th Hi There Bear Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice using my Mini MISTI. I added the piece that makes him a panda and put a little Black Glaze Pen on his eyes. The background is stamped in Jalapeño and cut it out with my Scissors. I stamped the balloon in Black Licorice and Sugarplum and the string is stamped on the background. The bear and ballon are cut out with the Coordinating Dies. On a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock I stamped the distressed line from the Concord & 9th Bits & Pieces Photopolymer Stamp Set in Black Licorice. The background is adhered with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner and the bear and balloon with 3M Foam Tape. My greeting is from the Hi There Bear Set and is stamped in Black Licorice. I trimmed it out and added it to the card with more 3M Foam Tape. A few dots of Sugarplum added with my Stylus finishes the card! Isn’t that bear just too cute?! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players Challenge! Thanks for sharing your Monday with me! Enjoy the rest of your day! 🙂

Very glad you have a new Baby. She looks very cute. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my goodness! Cali is precious. And, I love your bear card. Reminds me of a bear I had when I was a small child.
Your new little fur-kid is adorable!! Congrats! She will bring you so much love and joy! Oh, and the card is fun, too. ;P
Congrats on your adorable new fur ball, Cali!
OMG! adorable! love when dogs are rescued, ours is too. Cali is a cute name and it suits her, congrats.
Justin,
OMG! Cali is just beautiful! I can’t believe you found her on your first visit to a shelter. I’ve been checking shelters through pet finder for 2 months with no luck. Or I find the perfect dog but they are adopted before I can get there.
Well good luck with her. I’m sure she will be a perfect match for you. So happy for you.
OMG!! she is so cute..what is her name?
Cali is the sweetest little thing! I fell in love with just her photo. How old is she?
Your card is so cute for today but I think all your followers are so taken by Cali that the card ends up coming in second place. LOL Have a Marvelous Monday.
Oh…. too adorable! I’m so happy for you!!!!!!!!
Did you ppst a hard? LOl. Your pupy stole the post! Really like this, pandas are my favorite
OMG, Post a CARD! I hate Mondays.
Your panda looks very retro Justin and the green and purple accents rally pop against the black and white. Your new fur-baby looks very cute – I hope she brings you much joy! Thanks for playing along with my sketch challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Your new addition is absolutely adorable!!! What a wonderful little face 🙂
Love your card and that you turned the sketch on its head. Great take on the challenge. So glad you shared your panda with us at the Paper Players this week
