Cupcakes & Sprinkles

Yay for the weekend! I had a pretty busy day yesterday. Got my haircut in the morning and spoke to my friend Greg for a little while. I went over and saw Heather, we had lunch and I ran a few errands. The evening was quiet, just a little TV. Today it’s supposed to be rainy so maybe some crafty time?! Good way to spend a rainy day! πŸ˜€

I have another card to share with you today that uses the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Turnabout Set! The background is stamped with it using my MISTI with Freshly Cut Grass and Merman Ink onto a piece of Solar White 80lb. I adhered the trimmed piece to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The cupcakes are stamped in Black Licorice for the outline and the same two ink colors to fill them in. My tag is cut out from a piece of Mermaid Card Stock with the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Tag Dies along with the cupcakes. My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto the bottom of the tag. I tied a piece of Natural Green Twine through the top and adhered it to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. The cupcakes are adhered with 3D Foam Squares and a little drop of Multi-Matte Medium holds the twine in place! I’m loving that Sprinkles Turnabout, confetti sprinkles in any colors! I hope that you like my card for today! Thank you so much for visiting! Have a spectacular Saturday! πŸ™‚

  1. What a cute, fun card, Justin. I love the colors and the greeting is great. Have a nice weekend, even with the rain. We’re having the same here. Good day for crafting and getting some things off my to-do list. LOL!

    1. Thank you HJ! I hope that you enjoyed your weekend! A little rain every so often isn’t that bad! Like you said perfect day for getting things done! πŸ™‚

  2. What a fun card Justin! I love the sprinkles and the saying is oh so cute. What a quick and easy way to make a background and I so love making my own backgrounds. Glad you had a good day yesterday and yes, a rainy day is a great day for crafting. The kids have left to attend an event in Cape Elizabeth and then they will head home. Toni-Lynn and I accomplished an amazing amount of projects yesterday but boy, that girl can really wear me out. You have yourself a Super Saturday my friend. Love & Hugs to you. XXOO πŸ™‚

  3. Love this!!!!! Especially the colors and the tag accent.

I am exhausted, went out to bruch with some old coworkers. Awesome time. Then I dragged hubby out to look for a new famly room sofa. I knew I wanted black leather… how hard could that be. OMG, impossible. If I heard from one more store that black leather was out and this was the only one available I was going to screem. Also the insitance of a sectional, love the idea but it didnt fit the room.

Final last stop, walked in and awesome customer service. Oh yes we have many samples, and you can actually design several aspects of the couch. I almost fell over… not to mention fell asleep in the comfy couch. Now to waitb 6 weeks….

    1. Thanks Linda!
Don’t you love when you know what you want and everyone tells you different! LOL! Ugh!
Sometime the wait if definitely worth it! Now you will have exactly what you want!! πŸ™‚
