Hello and welcome to the start of the weekend! The weather in Manhattan was absolutely gorgeous yesterday! It was in the 70’s all day even last night at midnight it was still 70! Oh how I wish this was going to the be the winter! LOL! I spent the day at The Ink Pad with Anna and Barbara and then had my first class there featuring Lawn Fawn. We fit 10 students into the store, it was cozy but fun! You can see all of them in the pictures below diligently working on their cards. I had a great time and I hope that they did too! Can’t wait for the next one!
Today I have one of the cards that we made last night. It’s a fun simple holiday card. The base is Neenah Solar White 80lb Card Stock. My background is a piece of the Lawn Fawn Ice Blue Bokeh 12×12 Paper. I used the Lawn Stitched Rectangles to cut out two more pieces of Solar White 80lb, one is left as is and another is cut with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders. That one is adhered to the card with Foam Tape and the full size pieceΒ with Fun Foam and SNAIL. All of the images are from the Lawn Fawn Ready, Set, Snow Photopolymer Stamp Set and are all stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with Copics. I used the Brother Scan-n-Cut to cut the images out. My greeting is the Lawn Fawn Scripty Joy Die cut from Red and adhered with Multi-Matte Medium. A sprinkling of Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins complete the card! I hope that you e enjoy the card as much as the class did! Thank you for checking in today! Have a super Saturday! π

Thanks so much Nancy! π
Great card, Justin. I love the DSP, the little snowmen, the cute village and the large “joy”. It all makes a wonderful card. It looks as though everyone worked hard to make their cards and I’m sure they enjoyed themselves.
Thank you HJ! Everyone had a great time at class, can’t wait for the next one! The card is nice and simple but fun, love that Ready, Set, Snow Set! π
Hey Justin,
Cute card! Love the sequins as snow!
Hi Gerri!
Thank you! Sequins are great for so many things! LOL! π
Hi, Justin! Love the pictures of the Ink Pad. It looks just a bit bigger than your Galley at home, so you must feel quite comfortable there! I am so glad that your stamping is taking you places that help you relax and have fun. Happy Weekend! Nancy B
Hey Nancy!
Yes, The Ink Pad is small but a lot bigger than the Galley! I do love the cozy feel of the store for sure! Now to make my stamping take me to the next level! Hope you had a nice weekend! π
Love the card. I’ll bet you are a great teacher.
Thank you Emily! I had a great time with the class, it’s easy when you love what you do! π
Good Morning Justin:
I absolutely love this fun card. One has to smile when you see those snowmen and mounds of snow and outside it’s still in the 60’s! I bet everyone in class loved making it, I know I would. The colors are so nice and bright against the white background. Then the entire scene is really brought into focus with the use of the DSP. Just an all around fun and beautiful card. I sure wish I was close enough to take a few of your classes. I think my girls would also love to try card making under your tutelage!
Have yourself a Sun Shiny Saturday. Big Hugs, XO π
Hi Grace!
Thank you! Yes, lots of snow in the card and let’s hope that it all says there! LOL! Everyone did enjoy the cards, the shaker was their fave! I wish that you were closer too! Hmm… I think I have an idea! How fun would it be to have the three of you there?! That would be great! Hope the you had a nice Saturday! Bug hugs back at ya! XOXO π
Such a cute card! And I’m looking at the details of all the goodness in those pictures of The Ink Pad! Candy Store!
Thank you Carol! Yes, The Ink Pad is a stampers candy store for sure! π
Oh I woud love to get lost inn that cozy store. Its a shame, almost all of our stamp scrapbok stores have closed. Great card. Cant wait to see te rest. I ned to look into nthat fun foam, so many crafters use it. Do you like it? LOL, I’d take a winter with 40’s, cold and windy here in Chcagoland but the sun is out so its a gorgeous day. finally giot all my potted plants and garden taken down, π
It’s very easy to spend a few hours in The Ink Pad Linda! The same is true around here, most of the Stamps Stores have closed. The Fun Foam is awesome and you can get it from Michaels for $1 a sheet! Much cheaper than Foam Tape and a lot sturdier! We did have a nice Friday and Saturday but it’s chill here now too. Here’s to a warm winter!! π
