It was definitely a little nicer here yesterday! Warmer and sunny all day! We are supposed to get up into the 70’s over the weekend finally! My little trip to the Dr. with Brian yesterday morning was a lengthy one! We got there at 8:15 and by the time that he was finished it was 11:15! I had a nice little nap in the car so it was all good! We stopped by the deli on the way home and I had lunch with him and Kim. Once I got back to my house I managed to get a little crafting done. Heather came and got me at 4:30 so we could make a quick run to BJ’s. I had dinner with my parent’s and then headed over to Heather’s. We had a nice evening and watched some YouTube videos and a few movie trailers. Today I need to get my laundry done! It’s been three weeks! I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that I have enough clothes for three weeks to wear or to wash! LOL!
For my projects today I’m participating in a blog hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. This month we have a Tic-Tac-Toe board! Love Tic-Tac-Toe, you get a really nice variation in the projects that way!
If you have arrived here from my friend Dena’s blog welcome! I love her projects!! I have a card and a little tag for you today so let’s get to it!
First up is my card. I used Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock for the base and covered that in a piece of Desert Storm 80lb. My frame is a piece of Woodgrain Card Stock from Ellen Hutson that I cut out with the Mama Elephant Framed Tags – Madison Avenue Creative Cuts. A generous coating of Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen is added to it and then it’s adhered to the card with E-Z Runner. My flowers are Solar White 80lb and Cucumber Crush that I cut out with The Ton Petal Cut Peonies Dies. They are all coated with Elmer’s Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive and then adhered to the card. The greeting is from the Hero Arts Many Everyday Messages Photopolymer Stamp Set and is heat embossed on Vellum with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder and adhered to the card with Tombo Vellum Adhesive. The card needed a little more sparkle so I added a few Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins! I love that Woodgrain Card Stock, I have had it for a long time but just recently “found” it!
No on to the coordinating tag! The front is cut from the same Woodgrain Card Stock using the Mama Elephant Framed Tags – Madison Avenue Creative Cuts along with a piece of Fun Foam. The set also comes with a solid tag without the circle cutout and that’s what I used to cut out the Acetate and the backing from another piece of Desert Storm 80lb. I assembled the layers adhering them together with Scor-Tape filling in the shaker with Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins. My greeting is heat embossed in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder on a piece of Cucumber Crush that is cut out with another die form the same set. I adhered it to the card with Foam Tape and tied a piece of Lawn Fawn Green Sparkle Lawn Trimmings String though the top.
I hope that you enjoyed my card and coordinating tag for the OSAT Tic-Tac-Toeg Blog Hop! You can click on the button below to continue on with the tour and you will go on to see what Jeanna has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! 🙂

Justin,
Beautiful card! The die cuts are so delicate. And I love the tag!!! A shaker tag – so cool!
Hi Gerri!
Thank you! I do love those dies and that spray adhesive makes them nice and easy to keep in place! Have a great day! 🙂
I love your creations today, Justin. The beautiful card using desert storm with the white flowers and green leaves, plus the woodgrain frame makes such a nice statement. The anniversary card and the cute shaker tag to go on the gift makes a sweet set. Isn’t it nice to have pleasant weather on consecutive days? Have a great Thirsty Thursday. I’m off to volunteer at the senior center for a while today, which is always fun. All the people I meet have very interesting backstories.
Thank you very much HJ! I love the white with the Desert Storm, It’s a little lighter than kraft and I definitely like the color better! I am really enjoying the weather! Thirsty Thursday has been cancelled, Heather has a doctor’s appointment. I hope that you have fun at the senior center! I’m sure that stories are great! 🙂
Very pretty, kraft and white always catches my eye. I had to come over and see who makes that gorgeous frame die, I hadn’t seen these before. Well done!
Thanks AJ! The Frame Die is cool and unexpected from Mama Elephant! 🙂
Oh my gosh Justin – I love that wood grain paper! How perfectly perfect for a frame. However do you find all of these fabulous supplies? Your card and gift tag today are just beautiful and so elegant for any anniversary. Now, who would ever think the words wood grain and elegant could be mixed together to describe a gorgeous card? Well, that’s the magic of your creativity.
Warm and sunny here today also. So nice for a change. We aren’t going to be as warm as you are, most likely we will end up in the 60’s but that’s enough to shed the dang winter coats so I’m happy. Looks like we may actually have a spring after all. Enjoy your Thursday – tomorrow is your favorite day of the week right? Love & Hugs, XXOO 🙂
Thank you Grace! Me too! I spend way too much time on the internet looking for crafty things! LOL! I’m so happy that you enjoyed the card!!
It was a nice day here yesterday too and is supposed to get progressively nice into the weekend! I’m hoping to get to put the top down at some point! You have a super Friday my friend! XOXO 🙂
So beautiful Justin! I really love the combination of white with the desert storm cardstock.
