Hey hey! Happy Thursday! I had a nice productive day at the Store after I had to stop at the bank again yesterday morning! My ATM card didn’t work, thanks citibank! I’ve definitely seen enough of them this week! LOL! Renee had her Kiwi Lane class and my Parent’s stopped by in the morning for a bit. After work I came home and spoke to Heather for a bit. My friend Jim came by and we had dinner, Zorn’s which I haven’t had in forever, and listened to music and talked. A very nice way to end the day indeed!
For my projects today I’m participating in a blog hop with a bunch of my friends from one of the Facebook groups that I belong to. It’s called One Stamp at a Time Cards and More. If you have arrived here from the talented Megan Thompson, welcome! This month we have a Birthday Bash theme! I don’t know about you but I can always use a Birthday card! I made a card and a coordinating gift box to share with you today!
First up is my card! I used the Lawn Fawn Out of This World Photopolymer Stamp Set and stamped some of the images from the set in Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink so that I could color them in with my Copics. They are cut out with the Coordinating Lawn Cuts. My card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. For the background I cut a piece of Black to be slightly smaller than my card front and heat embossed the greeting in the bottom left with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The background is then adhered to the card with Fun Foam and E-Z Runner. I added the images to the card with 3D Foam Squares and then stamped one of the stars from the set in Yeti Ink randomly over the background. Finally I used my Signo White Gel Pen to add dots to the background and give it a little more of a space feel. I think this would make a great card for a little boy’s Birthday, don’t you?
Next I have the coordinating box. I used the Lawn Fawn Fancy Box Lawn Cut to cut out the box and then used the Lawn Fawn Starry Skies Lawn Cut to cut out the stars from the lid. Some more images from the Out of This World Set are stamped, colored and cut out. I adhered the box together and added the stamped images to the lid with 3D Foam Squares. Again, I stamped the stars and added some dots and it’s done! I love that box, it’s a nice different way to give a gift card or a little present!
I hope that you enjoyed my card and gift box for the OSAT Birthday Bash Blog Hop! You can click on the next button below to go back to the start and see what the talented Lori Mueller has come up with!! Thank you so much for stopping by to see me today. Have a thoroughly awesome Thursday! 🙂

Thank you so much Pam! I do love that Out of This World Set! 🙂
Hi Justin! Another perfect card and gift box to put away for Daniel. Boy, at the rate you’re going you will have cards made right through to his 18th birthday and he is going to love every single one of them. Isn’t that astronaut just the cutest little kid! Great job and your gift box with the stars cut out is just gorgeous.
It’s snowing pretty good right now. According to our weatherman, these are supposed to be just flurries but it sure doesn’t look that way. The real nor’easter is scheduled to arrive tomorrow night into Saturday with “plow-able” accumulations. The really weird part is the sun is shining. Too cool. You have yourself a Totally Terrific Thursday my friend. Love and hugs to you. XXOO 🙂
Hey Grace!
LOL! Thanks! Yup, I have made a bunch of Daniel themed cars lately! It’s easy with that set! I love the little astronaut and the rocket!
Sun and Snow, that makes us both happy! Hope you don’t get too much! Love and hugs to you! XOXO 🙂

What a fun stamp set, Justin! I don’t really make any “kid” cards these days, but my nephews would have loved this whole set when they were younger! Thanks so much for letting me join in on the OSAT Blog Hop, I’m so happy to be a part of it. Crystal
