Halfway though, almost there! I had an interesting day yesterday. My checking account got screwed up by citibank, they cashed someone else check in my account and were very unhelpful, in fact it may be the worst customer service experience I have ever had! But with a little help from Heather we got it straightened out. Glad that we had to do all of the work to figure out what went wrong. Thanks citibank, I’ll definitely recommend you to my friends… NOT! So that ended up consuming most of my day. I did manage to get a few cards made while I was at the Store. When I got home I had dinner and then went out for a while with Taylor. To end the evening I watched a movie and soaked my feet. Today will be a much better day!! π
Since it’s Wednesday that means we have a new Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…
I actually managed to keep my card nice and simple! The base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Lawn Fawn Starry Skies Lawn Cuts to cut out the starts from a piece of Black. My piece of paper across the top as well as the two flagged pieces are from the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes Petite Paper Pad. I adhered the purple and light blue, tied a piece of Hemptique Black Hemp Cord in a blow and then adhered the other blue piece over that with 3D Foam Squares. After it was all together I adhered the piece to the card base. Next I heat embossed the one of the banners from the Lawn Fawn Bannertastic Photopolymer Stamp Set in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Black and then added the greeting from the Lawn Fawn Out of This World Photopolymer Stamp Set, slightly bending the stamp to follow the curve of the banner. A little E-Z Runner holds that in place. I also stamped the rocket from the Out of This World Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it in with my Copics. The Coordinating Dies are used to cut it out and a 3D Foam Squares holds it in place. A few Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze and Onyx Sequins and the card is done! I love the simplicity of the card and the colors! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Those colors look great! Love the layering and those white stars.
Thank you Carol! π
Oh Justin, what a PITA that must have been. Glad that Heather was able to help you get it straightened out. My guess is you will be changing banks soon. That’s what I did when our bank was sold for the 3rd time in 10 years and customer service deteriorated with each sale. It was a pain but well worth the aggravation.
Your dark colors reflect the mood you were in yesterday! OR, maybe the rocket suggests what you would like to have done with the person you were dealing with at the bank. LOL Whatever, the card turned out great. I especially like that the rocket ship has passed the stars! How cool is that! You have yourself a Worry Free Wednesday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO π
Oh my Grace, it was so annoying! Heather is the best when it comes to fixing things like that! I hate my ban but I have been with them for almost 30 years. Customer service is a thing of the past with so many places, sad actually.
LOL! Yes, I guess they do! I like the way you look at my cards! I love the rocket ship! Hope you had a great day! Love and hugs!! XOXO π
OMG! Yep i love it when the bank errors but its my fault. Long story…..my identity was given away by Bank of America, some idiot got into my online account and had a new credit card mailed to my home in Pittsburg> REALLY, no one questioned why all my other accounts were in Chicago, along with my mortgage. After the inverstigation it turned out that their employee did not follow policy, Really!
Anyway, I still get upser thinking about it. But Happy Hump Day. Windy as oh hell here, but still Springy.
Cute card. I so love that watercolor paper
I can’t stand it when the bank screws up and I have to do all of the work! It was so frustrating! Where is my fee?! LOL!
I’m glad that you had Springy weather! I too love that Watercolor paper! π
