Today will be a good day to do some things indoors, it’s supposed to rain all day. I have plenty to keep me busy, some cleaning and some crafting should fill up my day nicely. Yesterday morning I went and picked up Heather after she dropped off her car to be inspected and we grabbed some breakfast and went back to her house. While she worked I got some caught up on some stuff too. I took her back to get her car and then came home and did some stuff around the house. After dinner we took a ride to BJ’s and Party City so that she could pick up some necessities. The rest of my evening was spent watching a little TV and finally catching up on blog comments! I have another card to share with you using some more new Concord & 9th goodies. It’s for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge…
It’s a super simple card! I used the Dotty Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp and my MISTI to stamp a fun background. For the first three turns I used Altenew Cotton Candy, Mango Smoothie and Peach Perfect Crisp Ink. I used my Heat Tool to make sure that the ink was dry, treated it with my Powder Tool and then used Versa-Mark and Hero Arts Gold Embossing Powder for the fourth turn. A piece of it is trimmed and adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. The celebrate is from the Concord & 9th All About You Dies and is cut from a piece of American Crafts Gold Glitter Card Stock. I used Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive to adhere it to the card. That’s it! Like I said, simple but I love the awesome patterned paper that you can create with the Dotty Turnabout Stamp! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!
