Fab Friday 116 – jkcards

Fab Friday 116

It didn’t rain as much as they said that it would so needless to say I didn’t get as much done as I thought I would! Oh well, there’s always today! Jim came by around 4:00 and we got all caught up after his vacation. We ran a few errands and then went to Gino’s for dinner. I also had the pleasure of a visit from the child last night. We also ran a few errands! Hmm… maybe I did get a lot more done that I thought! LOL! πŸ˜€

It’s Friday peeps and it’s also a Fab Friday and we have some colors for you this time…

I have been really trying to make cards lately that don’t use a ton of supplies. We all need cards like that! This one starts off with the usual base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I stamped the images and greeting from the Simon Says Stamp Many Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set right onto the card base. The flowers and leaves are stamped inΒ Sunkist, Goldenlocks, Hot Mama, Jellybean and High Dive. I stamped the centers of the flowers and the greeting in Black. That’s it! I love the loose florals and handwritten greeting! This would also be a great card to mass produce using your MISTI! Β I hope that you like my card for the Fab Friday color challenge! Be sure and stop by the BLOG to get some more inspiration from the rest of the Team and let’s see what you come up with, add your card to the gallery! Thanks for coming by today! Have a fabulous Friday! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Justin:
I looked at all those colors and thought “how in the world could I mix all those colors in one card?”. Well, you had the perfect answer – Flowers! You are such a smartie pants! LOL I love the simplicity of this card because the white space allows the Thanks to be so bold. AND, when sending a Thank You card you certainly want the thanks to be key.
Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday. We had kind of a crazy one but accomplished a ton of stuff (for a change)! You have yourself a Fantastic Friday my friend. Love and hugs to you! XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Hey Grace!
As soon as I saw the colors I know it would be flowers! Thank you! I so love to just stamp! I have all of those inks and they get neglected!
It’s good to get a lot accomplished! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚

  2. Yep, you got nothing accomplished! Shame on you. Great way to work those colors in. I think its interesting how all stamp companies have almost the same colors, just different names……

    1. LOL! As soon as that TV goes on it’s all over Linda! LOL! Yes, they do all have similar color but the formulas are different! Sometimes! πŸ™‚

  3. Great card, Justin. I love how you incorporated all those colors into this beauty. Love the font of the greeting. Have a great weekend, my friend.
