Paper Craft Crew 252

We have been very lucky with the weather lately! Another beautiful day! I did get a ton of stuff done yesterday! Spoke to my friend Greg in Indiana, worked on a few projects, made a card! I had dinner with my Parents and then Heather stopped by for a bit. Taylor came by later on and we listened to 80’s and 90’s music. I’m going to make today another get stuff done day! πŸ˜€

The card that I have to share with you today is for this week’s Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge…

I used one of my new favorite sets from Concord & 9th! The card base is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Dies to cut out a piece of Desert Storm and stamped the woodgrain strip from the Concord & 9th Petals & Palettes Photopolymer Stamp Set in Doe. The flowers and leaves are from the same set and are stamped in Sunflower and Noble Fir. They are cut out with the Coordinating Dies and adhered to the card along with the Palette. I stamped the greeting, also from the same set, in Noble Fir, flagged the right end and adhered it to the card with more 3M Foam Tape. A few more flowers and a leaf are added to the left of the greeting. Some Pretty Pink Posh Lemon Sequins complete the card! I do love that palette and the bright yellow flowers! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge! Stop by the BLOG to get inspired and add your card to the gallery! I thank you so much for stopping by! Have an interesting Wednesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Justin, I love your card today with its pretty flowers and the wood background. That is a neat die to cut the wood like that. Great color combo. I was away last week at a stamp camp where I had so much fun, but came home exhausted at the end of the week. It’s taken me some time to recover – too many late nights!! I have to remember to use Chrome to be able to comment on your blogs. Crazy computer!! Enjoy your productive day, my friend.

    1. HJ – you dog you! LOL I am so jealous that you got to go away to a stamp camp. They don’t have them in our area. I bet it was tons of fun and worth the late nights. πŸ™‚ Wish I had been with you.

    2. Hi HJ!

  2. Hi Justin:
This card would also make an amazing get well card. Bright, beautiful flowers can’t help but bring a smile to your face. I too love the wood background and this stamp & die set would be worth the money spent if it were just the wood background and die. You did a fabulous job with this sketch. It’s always fun to see what your interpretation of a sketch is. Have yourself a Wondrous Wednesday my friend. Love & Hugs to you my friend! XXOO πŸ™‚
