It was a nice day here yesterday, in the high 80’s with lots of sun. I decided that it was important for me to be outside and enjoy it so I didn’t get as much done as I had wanted to but I still did manage to accomplish some things. I crafted for a bit and got a few things done on the computer. This morning I’m off to Manhattan again for the better part of the day. A nice way to start off my week! 😀
Monday and I have my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge to share with you…
I began by stamping the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background Photopolymer Stamp onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Lawn Fawn Merman Ink. My two hearts are die cut from Merman and Bluejay Card Stock using the Concord & 9th Heartstrings Dies. On the Merman one I used the Concord & 9th All About You Dies to cut out the word YOU. The celebrate is cut from another piece of Bluejay and adhered to the heart with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. I adhered the Bluejay heart to the card front with E-Z Runner and then used 3M Foam Tape to adhered to the Merman one adding the YOU back into the center. A few Pretty Pink Posh Cobalt Sequins complete the card! It’s a nice simple layout and I love the die cut YOU from the heart! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players challenge! Thanks so much for starting your week off here with me! Have a magnificent Monday! 🙂

Hi Justin:
Great card for graduation. I’m fortunate enough to have this die set and find I use it more then I thought I would. I use it most to make Anniversary cards and I love the way you offset the two main hearts. Thanks for sharing that idea. You have yourself a wonderful day in Manhattan. The weather is supposed to remain fabulous throughout most of this week. Love and hugs to you my friend! XXOO 🙂
Hello Grace!
Thank you! I love that Heartstrings Die Set! Good for so much! It has been really nice here too! Love and hugs to you too! XOXO 🙂
Jason, your cards are delightful and I love seeing them every day and even try to CASE some. Recently you did a card featuring W plus 9 Pocketful stamp and matching die. I have been looking high and low, on the W plus 9 website, on your store website, and so on. to find these to no avail. Please, PLEASE let me know how I can get them –even if just the stamp. Anyway keep up the inspirations for those of us who aren’t as creative as you.
Thank you so much Marsha! I have emailed you! We’ll work something out! 🙂

Perfect! Caed meets the challenge, yet it can be used for a number of other occasions. I need to get a grad card made tomorrow, lOL I’ve know about this for a few months now, but it seemed to early. Now…. Crunch time.
Happy 4th to you…..
Thanks Linda! I always find that I leave cards until the last minute! I have so many I always hope that I will find one in a pile! LOL! 🙂
Cute card, Justin. I love the colors and the large diecut “YOU” and also “celebrate”. They make a great card easy. I like easy!! LOL I have found that I have to respond to your emails in Chrome for them to show up. It seems crazy but if you’ve been missing me, that is why. I will write on AOL, get frustrated because it won’t send and then I’m out of time. Computers are like cars…if they work, they’re great. If they don’t, they are very frustrating!! The crazy part is that it only happens when I comment on your blog. Totally crazy. Have a wonderful 4th!
Thanks HJ! I am really liking easy lately! I completely agree with you about computers! They are the best things and the worst! Sorry about your issues with my blog! Hopefully it will clear itself up in the next update! LOL! 🙂
I love your layered diecuts and swirly background Justin – your card is indeed perfect for my challenge! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
Thank you Joanne! 🙂
What a great color combo! The woodgrain background in Merman ink is fantastic and really eye-catching. Like everyone else, I’m in love with that ‘You’ die cut too! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week. ~ Annie
Thank you Annie! I love using the woodgrain with unexpected colors! 🙂
Love that background, Justin! Very cool…a great take on the challenge this week!
Thanks so much LeAnne! 🙂
