It’s the last Monday in August?! Where did that month go?! I’m not looking forward to the Summer ending and Fall beginning at all! We’ll have to make the best of what’s left! I managed to get a lot more purging accomplished yesterday. I have come to the realization that I’m really good at playing Tetris in real life! LOL! I have stuff crammed in a ll sorts of places! Three more bags of trash and another bag of shredding are gone. I’ll continue this morning and then do a little cleaning later on. Another productive day is ahead peeps! π
I did pause to make a card yesterday and it’s for this week’s Paper Players challenge…
I stared my card by creating a stamped background on a piece of Solar White 80lb with the stamps from the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Turnabout Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the cupcake outlines in Black Licorice and then filled them in with Fresh Lavender and Ballet Slippers with a little Plastic Flamingo for the sprinkles. An extra one is stamped separately and cut out with the Concord & 9th Sprinkles Tag Dies. I used the largest circle from the Simon Says Stamp Nested Circles Dies to trim the stamped panel and adhered it to piece of Guava with some random sprinkles stamped in Plastic Flamingo. That is then adhered to a card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. My greeting is stamped in Black Licorice onto a circle of Solar White 80lb and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares along with the single cupcake. A few Pretty Pink Posh Orchid and Sparkling Clear Sequins complete the card. A fun little twist on a birthday card, don’t you think?! I hope that you like my card for this week’s Paper Players Sketch Challenge! Thank you for starting your week off here on the blog with me! Have a highly productive and fun Monday! π

Justin, this is a really fun card. I like how you randomly stamped the small cupcakes, then cut one out to go with the tag greeting. It’s always a good feeling to get rid of clutter that seems to accumulate from nowhere. Enjoy your day!
Thank you HJ! I am enjoying my decluttering! Hope you had a nice day! π
Hi Justin:
This card is so cute – I especially love the saying “Hello Cupcake! Of course the sprinkles are just so sweet. I cannot believe you have accumulated so much that you have bags and bags and bags and bags of trash accumulated! Your apartment must be huge! LOL Now don’t get so crazy with the purging that you go overboard and get rid of stuff you might be sorry you got rid of later. I’ve done that and then had to replace items. In fact I’ve done that more then once. You have yourself a Magnificent Monday my friend. Love & Hugs to you! XXOO
Hello Grace!
Thanks! I have been accumulating stuff for years and have not decluttered before, it was time! LOL! My apartment is tiny but feels a lot bigger now! It was time and I don’t need all of this stuff! Love and hugs to you! XOXO π
So cute! Love the colors. Yep, I think we all are pretty good at hiding stuff out of sight. But you are making progress.
I’m with you. I dread winter so much, I lover fall but hard to enjoy whennI know whats coming. We are back in rain and gloom here. This August has been more fall like then summer. Oh well….. I cant alter nature,
