Magnolia Thanks – Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th!

Hello strangers! LOL! I have had the pleasure of spending a few days in Brunswick, Georgia at my friend Kim’s Sister’s house. I got out of New York just in time leaving on Thursday before the storm hit. The weather here has been lovely, sunny and in the high 60’s to low 70’s. We went to St Simon’s Island, the Okefenokee Swamp Park and Savannah. I have been taking lots of pictures and have a few to share with you…

One of the giant Oak trees in the sub-division where I stayed

I’ll have more pics to share with you later in the week! Sadly we are flying home later on today but I have missed a certain someone a lot and will be happy to see them! ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s time for my March Solo Post over on the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Challenge Blog! I combined a few sets to make a simple card.

I started by stamping the watercolor strip from the Concord & 9th Seasonal Borders Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merman onto my card base of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock down the left side. Next I stamped the wreath from the Concord & 9th Magnolia Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set in Jalapeรฑo and Noble Fir using my Mini MISTI. It’s cut out with the Coordinating Die and adhered to the card with 3M Foam Tape. For my greeting I used the thanks die from the Concord & 9th Fabulous Phrases Dies to cut out a piece of Gold Mirror Card and a piece of Solar White 110lb. They are adhered to each other with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive. To adhered it to the wreath I used Multi-Matte Medium. Just a few Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze and Gold Sequins on the wreath and the card is done! I love that wreath!

I hope that you like the card for my March Solo Post for the Where Creativity Meets Concord & 9th Blog! Donโ€™t forget that you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook! We are getting ready to start our next challenge on March 9th, be sure to come back to see what the rest of my talented teammates have to inspire you! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Funny! I was just looking at the Magnolia Wreath and dies yesterday. Very enabling. I’ll have to go back and get it.

    1. LOL! Even though I’m not posting regularly I still need to keep my title! LOL! Thank you Linda!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Love the layering stamping on this card, Justin, and bling of the gold greeting and sequins. Glad you were able to get away from the brunt of the storm. We didn’t get a lot of rain here, but the high winds were bad. No damage to our property and no loss of power, so we were very lucky. Have a safe trip home. You’ll have to bundle up when you get back. Winter is not over here!! Ugh!

    1. Thank you HJ! It was a fun simple card to make! I had such a nice time down in Georgia! They got a bunch of snow but I was very happy to miss it and be in 70 degree weather instead! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Ooh, be very careful. I came out here (Brunswick) with a friend, and visited both islands, Savannah, and Okefenokee. Loved it so much we moved out here a year later. Been here almost 30 years now.

    1. LOL! It was really nice down in Brunswick Paula but I’m not quite ready to move there just yet! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. That sure works together! You’re down South, and your card is a pretty magnolia wreath – love that. I also love the area you are visiting. You are seeing some beautiful places.

    1. Thanks Carol! That was completely by accident! LOL! I did have a wonderful time on my trip! ๐Ÿ™‚
