Hello everyone! It’s FRIDAY! Yesterday was another great day! Maggie took Michael’s Baby Book class at Scrap-A-Latte so we were there for most of the day. Everyone loved the class and the book is awesome! I helped out and worked on a few things for Renee. After everyone was done Maggie, Michael and I stopped by the house and Skyped with Andrea for little bit before heading to Friday’s for dinner. When we got back to my house I worked on another card and then we watched some of the videos that I shot from the Sam Smith concert. This morning we are going to head out East for the day and maybe pay a visit to the wineries.
It’s also time for another Fab Friday and this time we have a color combos for you…
Today my card begins with a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock for the base. I ran two strips of of Bohemian Designer Washi Tape down the left side. My tag is a piece of Lost Lagoon that I cut out with the Simon Says Stamp Large Tags Die. The flowers are from the Mama Elephant Freestyle Florals Photopolymer Stamp Set and are stamped in Versa-Mark on Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow, heat embossed with White Hero Arts Embossing Powder and cut out with the matching dies. The leaves are adhered to the tag with SNAIL and the flowers with Foam Tape. I tied a piece of May Arts Natural Twine through the top and then adhered the tag to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. My greeting is the Mama Elephant Creative Cuts Thanks Script Die. I cut it out twice from Lost Lagoon and adhered them to each other and to the card with Ranger Multi-Matte Medium. Finally a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins are scattered around and complete the card. I really do love the look of white heat embossing for florals, especially on the dark card stock! Beautiful card! I love how you use so many different products. It gives me a chance to explore (and buy!) other options. You use fun foam a lot and I suspect this is an alternative to SU Dimensionals. May I ask the thickness of the fun foam that you purchase. It appears to come in all sizes. Thanks for sharing your fabulous ideas and lovely creations.
