Well, that was the best weekend I have had in a long time! Saturday in Manhattan then a BBQ and nice lazy Sunday with Michael watching movies and having Chinese food. Doesn’t get much better than that! I find it very difficult to just be and it was nice to get to do that for a change! I also received the replacement parts to fix the stereo in the Saab so I’ll see if I can get to that later on today. I hope that you all had a great weekend too!
It’s time once again for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch…
Another great sketch as usual! My card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card stock. The base layer of the background is made up of a piece of Chocolate Chip on the bottom and some “Vintage” Crisp Cantaloupe on top. The panel in the middle is a piece of paper from the Simple Stories Summer Vibes 6×6 Paper Pad backed with a piece of “Vintage” Coastal Cabana. My diagonal piece is Pumpkin Pie and it’s adhered to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. For the greeting I used the Simon Says Stamp Sparkle and Shine Photopolymer Stamp Set for the stitched circle that is stamped in Simon Says Stamp Smoke Ink and the Happy and Smile Photopolymer Stamp Set for the greeting, that’s stamped in Blushing Bride. I used the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles Dies to cut it out and it’s adhered to the card with Fun Foam and SNAIL. A few Hazel & Ruby The Makery Green with Envy and Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Sequins are added to give the card a little sparkle. I love the stitched circle stamp, especially paired with the stitched circle dies! I hope that you enjoyed my card for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch challenge. Simple beautiful and fun CAS card. Great inspiration for hubby’s BD on the 11th; he is the one with well over a 1,000 old, vintage cameras! Good thing you got to relax and enjoy the passing of time for a wee bit. Hope today is a day off work today? Gorgeous sunshine here! 🙂

Great week of cards and stories Justin. You sound like you have been having a lot of fun. Summer is such a happy time in general. I’ve been entering all my stamp sets and supplies into Evernote. It is taking some time but I think in the end it will be worth it. How do you organize your stamp sets?
