SIP Challenge 69 – Love!

Hello my friends! How is the week starting off for you? Mine is pretty good so far! I had a lovely productive day at the Stamp, Ink, Paper Store! I got my cards done for this week’s Quick Cards Class and my card for today’s post made too! Angie was at the store yesterdayΒ helping out Renee with the Cricut and making page titles. My Parent’s stopped by so my Dad could put air in my tire, they have started loosing air again, just like last year! Grrrr! Taylor also come by and hung out at the store for a bit. After work I had some dinner at my Parent’s and then Heather came by to watch a little TV with me. Today I will get more projects finished, I will! LOL! πŸ˜€

It’s Tuesday and that means that I’m over on the Stamp, Ink, Paper blog for this week’s challenge…

Ahh… love! It’s what we want a little of isn’t it? My card base for today is Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hearts Stackables Lawn Cuts to cut out a heart from Chinese Red and then again from Tropical Sea. Next up I die cut the Love from the Hero Arts Love Stamp & Cut Photopolymer Stamp Set from a piece of Black and then from the heart that was inlaid into the Tropical Sea piece. I then inlaid all of the pieces together and adhered them to the base with E-Z Runner. To make up for the heart hanging off of the right side I trimmed a 1/4″ off of the left. The rest of my greeting, also from the Love Stamp & Cut, is stamped in Onyx Black above the die cut Love. A few more hearts are cut from the Tropical Sea and Chinese Red with the Lawn Fawn Hearts Stackables Lawn Cuts and adhered to the card with 3D Foam Squares. I stamped a few more tiny hearts in Onyx Black and then added some Pretty Pink Posh Sea Breeze, Raspberry and Onyx Sequins and the card is done! I love the inlaid look of all of the different pieces and I think that the colors are great together! I hope that you like my Design Team card for this week’s Stamp, Ink, Paper Love Theme Challenge! Stop by the BLOG and see the rest of the Team’s cards and enter yours in the gallery! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have an interesting Tuesday! πŸ™‚

  1. Love the inlaid work! The colors are amazing together too. Who can go wrong with <3?

  2. Good Morning Justin:

I have to agree with Nancy that the inlaid work looks fabulous. My favorite part of the card is the way you let the right edge of the large heart hang over the edge. I also love that you put a sequin on the three medium sized hearts that are popped out. The final perfect step was adding those little black hearts all over the card. Gor-G-us!

Glad you had a good Monday. The hubs is back and I have put him to work on all the chores he was supposed to do before he left! Crackin’ the ole whip for sure! LOL Talk to him, he’ll tell you what a hard task master I am. LOL
You have yourself a productive and enjoyable Tuesday my friend. Love and hugs to you, XXOO πŸ™‚

    1. Hi Grace!
Thank you! I was debating on whether to trim the left or cut off the heart, glad that I left it that way! It’s definitely a lot of hearts but I like them all!
LOL! I’m sure that you are! I’ll bet that he’s happy to be home despite the chores! I had a good day, hope you didn’t work him too hard! Love and hugs to you! XOXO πŸ™‚
